The Senior ERP Executive:
serves as a subject matter expert for ERP-related engagements

Accountabilities

  • Expert in the ERP industry, keeping up with industry regulations, market trends, and product offerings. 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies required, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ year experience with ERP implementation, migration, and management of one or more of these administrative systems in higher education: Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, CampusNexus (Anthology/Campus Management), WorkDay, Unit 4 Demonstrated extensive knowledge of IT system integration and the ability to document ERP processes
  • Experience in the operations of higher education, both academic and administratively, to be able to lead transformation efforts across higher ed organizations and groups of higher ed institutions as they align, share services, reduce cost, while always increasing the student quality of the student experience and academic outcome.
  • Project management and change management experience Business process review experience, including reviewing and recommending policy changes, staffing and organizational alignment changes, and realignment of roles and responsibilities when appropriate risk management
  • Experience leading multiple client efforts simultaneously with success for all clients and teams in diverse types of organizations from independent institutions, to systems of universities, colleges and community colleges, with diversity across the experiences.

  • SaaS ERP experience.

Position Objective:
The Academic Budget and Planning Analyst provides a wide range of analytical, budgetary, financial, and administrative support for faculty and for senior managers in the Office of the Provost.

Job Type: Full-Time (W2)

Reports to: Academic Budget Director

Accountabilities

  • Assist in the processing and maintenance of the Academic Affairs Division financial transactions, including faculty payroll, purchasing contracts, and expense reimbursements.
  • Participate in monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll documents to the Office of Human Resources and the Payroll Department.
  • Work with chairs, directors, and department assistants to manage efficient flow of information. Enter individual monthly payroll submissions via action forms and Excel documents.
  • Serve as contact to multiple Columbia entities regarding payments to Barnard faculty.
  • Track spending of faculty research funds and serve as a resource to assist faculty on matters related to these funds.
  • Assist with the creation and tracking of grant accounts and expenditures.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the Associate Director for the Faculty Grants Committee.
  • Gather, organize, and distribute information required by the Committee members to support decisions regarding internal Barnard faculty research grants, Presidential Research awards, the Gildersleeve Professorship nominations, and the Tow Award for Innovative Teaching.
  • Create new faculty research accounts
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the Academic Budget Director
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for the annual budget process in the Academic Division
  • Collect data for analysis of the academic budget and annual instructional staffing and planning
  • Gather and distribute information required by the Faculty Budget and Planning Committee
  • Assist with work on the Faculty Conference Travel Grants program, including processing of applications, expense reports, reimbursements, and reporting.
  • Assist with work on student course evaluations, maintaining the course directory, and updating the Office of the Provost website. 6. Organize, track, and submit faculty computer orders and inventory.
  • Track and submit payment for faculty search budgets.
  • Other duties and projects as needed.

  • Education: Bachelors’ degree

Colleague DBA/Systems Admin - Nationwide Remote Work Opportunities

The Colleague DBA/Systems Admin position for CampusWorks is an important part of the service delivery team and requires technical knowledge of operating systems, databases, reporting tools and web applications to support the needs of one or more clients.  A significant part of the work requires the ability to provision, install/configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.  The Colleague Systems Admin is resourceful, able to problem-solves quickly, and works effectively across teams.
 
Team members successful in this role are: self-driven, able to understand the needs of the client and communicate effective solutions to multiple stakeholders, and experienced at managing multiple technical projects. 

A Day in the Life 
As an experienced Colleague DBA/Systems Admin with working experience at a Colleague client site, or more formally with either Datatel or Ellucian your expertise will be used daily at CampusWorks. While there are opportunities for some travel, both when it is safe to do so and for a good client need you will be at home.  One of the great benefits of being part of the CampusWorks’ team is that your expertise is used at multiple clients but you still get to add value to your own home community.  

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Provisions, installs/configures, operates, and maintains systems hardware and software and related infrastructure (25%)
  • Manages server and end-user application infrastructure, resolves issues as needed (20%)
  • Monitors and installs system and security patches. (20%)
  • Participates in Colleague/Ellucian module project implementation and/or Unidata to SQL migration for Colleague (20%)
  • Monitors system configuration and log files, takes preventive and/or corrective action. (5%)
  • Architects, installs, and maintains data backup and disaster recovery technical processes in support of overall business continuity strategy. (5%)
  • Develops and maintains technical architecture documentation. (5%)

  • 5-7 Years of Experience
