Dataiku is looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join its rapidly growing global Support team. Based out of Asia Pacific, you will be supporting the deployments of its Enterprise AI Platform (Dataiku DSS) to an ever growing and diverse customer base. Normally we hire candidates for our Support team to work a standard Monday to Friday work week. As a Weekend Warrior, you will be working a modified 4 or 5 day work week that always includes Saturday and Sunday to help our customers on a full-time basis.*

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills as a polished communicator and a trusted technical resource along with being able to demonstrate excellent judgment in prioritization and multitasking. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who loves learning new cutting-edge technologies and getting their hands dirty to solve challenging technical problems, and is naturally driven to become an expert in the space. 

Our ideal candidate is an autonomous individual who is passionate about getting big data and data science technologies working together to solve business problems, and who will efficiently help customers solve their technical issues with Dataiku DSS. This role can be based in Singapore, Australia, Korea or Japan.

In this role, you will help the team

  • Provide technical solutions and respond to technical requests from customers through a variety of different communication channels 
  • Manage and resolve support issues with a high degree of technical complexity
  • Act as a liaison between clients and other Dataiku teams (such as Customer Success, Engineering, Data Science, etc.) to help deliver a fast and efficient resolution to issues or questions that have been raised by our end users 
  • Improve efficiencies by documenting and standardizing support processes along with capturing or developing best practices 
  • Develop tools that will help in diagnosing, resolving, and triaging hard-to-get-at problems
  • Document knowledge in the form of incident notes, technical articles, and contributions to knowledge bases or forums within specific areas of expertise
  • Follow-up on customer commitments in a timely manner, balancing effectively both processes with the need to adapt to the situation, along with relaying lessons learned and feedback internally to our other client-facing and technical teams

You might be a good fit if you have

  • A strong competency in technical problem solving, with demonstrated experience working with advanced log analysis and other debugging techniques 
  • Proficiency working with Unix-based operating systems
  • Comfort working with and reading customer code
  • Experience working with at least one type of relational database and SQL 
  • Grit when faced with technical issues - you don’t rest until you understand what is happening and why things are not working 
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical individuals as needed 
  • Ability to be autonomous, resourceful, and a proactive self-starter, while also remaining process-oriented and a team player
  • Professional fluency in English is a must Ability and willingness to work a modified work week, which includes the weekends

Bonus points of any of these

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in a client-facing engineering or technical role, ideally involving a complex and rapidly evolving software/product 
  • Experience working with a multitude of analytics and big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, Docker/K8s, and various other database or BI technologies)
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or R
  • Working knowledge of various cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • Experience with authentication and authorization systems like LDAP, SAML, and Kerberos
  • Proven track record working in a remote position with a large amount of autonomy
  • Professional or native fluency in either Japanese, Korean, and/or Mandarin is a plus

The People Systems Manager will be responsible for owning the daily operations related to the HCM systems. This person will manage user permissions, custom reports/searches and user workflow automation requests and be on the front lines for all systems owned by the People Systems team. They will maintain data and business process integrity across all integrated people systems and platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Own all things related to the main HCM system controls and maintenance
  • Play an integral role in the configuration, support, and success of the Workday HCM system that we plan to implement and other existing People Systems that Workday will integrate with
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement best practices from a solutions perspective for gathered requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ascertain and maintain best possible configuration, and provide innovative people systems solutions as needed

  • 5+ years experience working on Workday (including managing, administering, and configuring business processes and workflows)
  • Certification in Workday HCM system modules
  • Experience maintaining users, roles & permissions, and all master data.
  • Experience turning business processes into Workday system processes and implementing Workday best practices.
  • Deep understanding of end to end people processes, from onboarding to off boarding

Building Evaluations of Dataiku: The Sales Engineer supports prospective clients and partners that wish to evaluate our technology by...

  • Structuring evaluations by identifying the core capabilities that need to be tested, and defining the most efficient way for them to be tested
  • Building the evaluation project plan, with detailed timelines and responsibilities

The Dataiku Enterprise Customer Success Manager (ECSM) is responsible for serving a portfolio of large enterprise accounts. This position proactively works with a broad set of stakeholders to illustrate the value delivered through Dataiku’s software & services. The Enterprise Customer Success Manager serves as the internal voice of the customer while working with other Dataiku teams and partners to exceed customer expectations. This individual's performance is based on specific metrics associated with customer product adoption, expansion & retention.

In this role, you'll help the team:

  • Actively serve a portfolio of assigned accounts based in Germany including some of the world’s leading organizations in industries such as financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals, transportation, manufacturing and technology

The People Systems & Rewards Analyst will be responsible for assisting the People Systems and Rewards team with daily operations and relating to administration and analysis of people systems, compensation, benefits, equity and reporting. This person will have a matrix reporting structure working closely with the People Systems manager on the front lines for all systems owned by the People Systems team and also with the Head of People Systems and Rewards on any total rewards and people analytics tasks.

What you'll do

The Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Accounting and Finance team with daily operations inside Netsuite. This person will manage user permissions, custom reports/searches and user workflow automation requests and be on the front lines for all systems owned by the Finance department. We are looking for an HR Business Parner to oversee HR operations in the APAC region. You will report directly to our Director HRBP based in Paris.  This role focuses on ensuring the smooth execution of all HR processes for our employees, starting right after the onboarding. This role will be based in the company’s office in Singapore and will include travels to other Dataiku locations in the area (mainly Australia for the time being).

The successful candidate will be interested in working in the HR field and has worked as an HR generalist or HR administrator, ideally in a fast-paced and international company. We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented partner who can help us champion Dataiku in the APAC region. This candidate will be an integral part of the HR team yet should feel comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • HR Operations: 
  • Be the first point of contact for general HR queries from managers and employees in the APAC region
  • Support and manage HR processes (onboarding, off-boarding, employee life-cycle processes etc.): including laptops purchase & set up
  • Preparation of HR documentation (employment letters, immigration, contracts etc.)

  • Payroll & Admin:
  • Run payroll and oversee benefits
  • Audit and improve - if need be - all benefits scheme for the regions (health insurance, pension, etc)

  • HR projects:

The role consists of working on a large variety of tasks split between operation and development. As an SRE, you  are responsible to build, automate, deploy  and operate a reliable, secure  and cost-efficient infrastructure to support the Dataiku SaaS offering.

Responsibilities:

Dataiku is hiring a Director of Sales Engineering to oversee our Central Europe team of Sales Engineers. The position should be based in Frankfurt, Berlin or Munich. 

The Sales Engineering function at Dataiku is the primary technical function within the Sales organization, providing technical support (both for presales and post sales) to the Account Executives and directly contributing to Dataiku’s revenue objectives. As the “trusted advisors” in the sales process, the Sales Engineers help to build interest in Dataiku, build the solution to the prospect’s needs, and then build the evaluation to provide the prospect/customer with the proof that they need to make their purchasing decision. 

The Director role is key in growing Dataiku’s business in Central Europe ; s.he should work as an individual contributor and lead the team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of Sales Engineers helping to ensure technical success throughout the sales process
  • Be the main technical point of contact for the VP sales Central Europe to strategize on opportunities, give reliable visibility to the pipe, and train / coach the sales team on technical topics

Dataiku is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to join its Field Engineering Team to support the deployment of its Enterprise AI Platform (Dataiku DSS)  to an ever growing customer base. 

As a Cloud Architect, you’ll work with customers at every stage of their relationship with Dataiku - from the initial evaluations to enterprise-wide deployments. In this role, you will help customers to design, build and run their Data Science and AI Enterprise Platforms.

This role requires adaptability, inventiveness, and strong communication skills. Sometimes you will work with clients on traditional big data technologies such as SQL data warehouses and on-premise Hadoop data lakes, while at other times you will be helping them to discover and implement the most cutting edge tools; Spark on Kubernetes, cloud-based elastic compute engines,  and GPUs. Responsibilities

  • Evangelize the challenges of building Enterprise Data Science Platforms to technical and non-technical audiences
