What You'll Do

  •  Collaborate with our team to build, test and ship the consumer-facing product features and internal tools that power nearly all aspects of the business and help us to grow & scale
  • Make important architectural decisions that will help shape and scale our APIs and systems (platform, personalization, community, growth, education, certifications) as our company grows

Who You Are: 

As Flockjay’s Head of Product, you will be the pioneering leader responsible for driving the strategy & execution of our existing products while leading the launch of additional new products and features. As the bridge between our technical and operational teams, you will work with our admissions, learning, career services, and success teams to build internal tools that meet the various needs of our students throughout their Flockjay journey. You will also work closely with our hiring partners to understand the value that our product provides and drive to improve that value everyday.  

This opportunity is unique as it requires someone to lead and implement initiatives that have massive impacts on growth, engagement, conversion, and internal operations while being part of a small, growing team. The right individual will have strong leadership skills as well as a roll-up-your sleeves, hands-on mentality with a strong sense of urgency.  

As our Head of Product, you will report directly to our CEO and manage our growing team of Product Managers and Designers. This position is fully remote however we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

What You'll Do

  • Own product vision, strategy, development and execution across all digital products at Flockjay
  • Create, manage, and deliver a rolling 3-6 month digital product roadmap
  • Manage team of Jr. PMs and Product Designers, providing development opportunities and performance feedback
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver the right solution for our Tech Fellows, Hiring Partners, and Flockjay team members
  • Find insights in our data, generate measurable hypotheses about our users and their needs, and run tests to evaluate our hypotheses and guide our priorities

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of management or mentorship experience within product development

Who You Are:

As our In-house Sales Enablement Manager, you will be accountable for the successful design, creation, and maintenance of Flockjay’s Tech Sales Curriculum. You will also create the systems and processes for tracking student progress and reporting on results. 

You are able to create content quickly and professionally and can support trainers in the teaching of this content.  

This position requires an analytical and data-driven mindset, an obsession with detail, passion for process development, and operational focus. While you'll need to be able to operate autonomously and with initiative, you'll have the support of our team and report directly to our Head of Learning. What You’ll Do:

You love the exercise of thinking through how to best teach people and the creativity involved in curriculum design, but you are also organized and process-oriented and have experience taking many inputs and organizing them into one cohesive output. 

We are looking for someone who can jump in and start building on Day 1, but who can also think through the bigger picture and record and document the curriculum creation and reporting process so that we can achieve excellence at scale.

You’ll be working closely with our Product, Engineering and Growth team to design new product features. - Own the end to end design process for all our digital products (web and mobile) and company’s visual brand identity

As a key member of the Outcomes team, you will be critical to Flockjay’s ongoing success and growth, as well as the success and growth of our students. You will combine core competency in project management with coaching skills to nurture and support Flockjay students on their path from Flockjay to a successful career in tech sales. You will use your program development skills to build student & alumni support programs and communication plans, and use your top-tier communication skills to ensure that all students feel heard and supported.   • Serve as the main point of contact for students & alumni to provide support and connect them with resources to ensure success
  • Manage all post-graduation communications with our tech fellows & alumni
  • Own and oversee all logistical aspects of career services, including activities prior to, during, and post-placement 
  • Assist with the creation of candidate support programs that ensure Flockjay graduates are equipped with the training and skills necessary to secure job offers and succeed in their roles 
  • Build strong relationships with students and advocate for them during the job placement process
  • Track key metrics using Salesforce and other data platforms to ensure our dashboards & forecasting is accurate
  • Help build out alumni mentorship programs and facilitate networking events

Who You Are:

As a key leader on the Outcomes team, you will be critical to Flockjay’s ongoing success and growth, as well as the success and growth of our students. You will combine core competency in tech sales recruiting with behavioral coaching skills to train, nurture, and support Flockjay students on their path from Flockjay to job offer. You will use your analytical horsepower to build outcomes forecasting and manage placement pipeline, and use your top-tier communication skills to motivate partners to screen candidates, report on progress, and manage internal and external stakeholders. Everything you do has the ability to make a real, measurable impact on our students’ careers and lives, and ultimately change the future of job training and success. 

You will report directly to our Head of Operations. This position is remotely-friendly however we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the full cycle post-graduation to hire process for candidates and partners
  • Lead role scoping meetings with hiring partners to understand their needs, ideal candidate profile and gather key matching inputs
  • Build strong relationships with hiring partners and follow up with them to ensure they efficiently move candidates through the hiring pipeline

Who You Are:

As Flockjay’s People Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an environment where individuals and the organization can thrive as we continue to grow & scale. The People Operations/Human Resources function is one that will support and align with the organization’s business goals, objectives, and strategies while also honoring each individual’s contribution to and journey at Flockjay.

This opportunity is unique as it requires someone who can thrive in both execution and strategy. This includes rolling up your sleeves to ensure every team member at Flockjay is supported, while also zooming out to start building our longer-term people strategy.

You will report directly to our Founder/CEO and interact closely with members of all teams while helping to define and advance our Mission- and Core Values-driven culture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create scalable, cohesive People Operations strategy + infrastructure that is tailored to employees at all levels both in our SF office and those working remotely
  • Oversee the build out benefit offerings and lead annual open enrollment for all employees, including: health insurance, wellness and engagement initiatives, and other rewards programs that are competitive and comprehensive
  • Roll out an employee performance management & evaluation process
  • Manage Payroll for all Flockjay employee & contractors
  • Regularly seek both formal and informal feedback from all teams in order to improve employee engagement and employee performance
  • Develop and roll out effective Learning & Development opportunities for all employees
  • Partner with our Recruiter and Hiring Managers to ensure strong employee orientation and onboarding process
  • Review current compensation strategy and make a recommendation for philosophy and practices, based on competitive market
  • Provide input on all employee experience related programs across all employee populations, including exempt and non-exempt
  • Manage immigration and visa processes to ensure compliance
  • Creatively oversee and manage employee events
  • Identify additional areas and create roadmaps for analysis, discussion, and implementation as needed

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, ideally with an early-stage, mission-driven startup
  • Passion for building more diverse and inclusive environments
  • Solid knowledge in all areas of HR and employment law, including SF & greater the Bay Area
  • Proven project and change management skills

You'll create unique and engaging online and offline experiences while creating feedback loops with community members. While you'll need to be able to operate autonomously and with initiative, you'll have the support of our team and report directly to our CEO from our sunny SF office.

  • Develop, own and execute the overarching strategy for our student and company partner communities
  • Be the lead point of contact for Flockjay alumni, and build the team to support this relationship as the company grows

  • Own the growth of our communities and digital community products, identifying both opportunities to experiment/pilot new projects and also scale successful projects

As a key leader on the Outcomes team, you will be critical to Flockjay’s ongoing success and growth, as well as the success and growth of our students. What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the post-graduation to hire process
  • Serve as a mentor to students throughout the interview and placement cycle (and beyond)
  • Create student success and intervention plans
  • Manage full cycle feedback loops between students, trainers, employers, and admissions
  • Assist with in-class job-readiness training & strategy, including: interview coaching & curriculum, resume readiness, etc.
  • Develop a structured post-graduation curriculum
