The role
We’re looking for talented, growth-minded sales account executives to help us grow Loom’s presence in the enterprise as we develop and release up-market products in 2020. With over 50k businesses using Loom today, there’s an incredible opportunity for Loom to meaningfully impact the future of work for companies of all sizes. At Loom, sales account executives will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities with a cross-functional breadth. In this role, we’re looking for people who have experience selling to enterprise companies, demonstrate a builder mindset as early members of the Loom sales team, and are comfortable leveraging video as a key component of their sales process. We care about working as a team, delivering results, and what will move the needle most for Loom. There is significant opportunity for advancement. You will play a critical role in scaling our rapidly growing global sales team in the next year.

Your Responsibilities

  • Effectively sell to Enterprise (1k+ FTE) and Mid-Market (500-999 FTE) customers
  • Gather and share impactful product feedback from Loom’s customers with an emphasis on delivering data-driven recommendations
  • Develop a deep understanding of Loom’s products, technology, market position, and employee value proposition
  • Deliver the Loom story to prospective customers, with an emphasis on effective storytelling and vision-selling
  • Deeply and effectively partner with technical and customer-facing colleagues on product, support, success, and design teams with an emphasis on effective collaboration

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience with a preference for SaaS
  • 2+ years of quota-carrying sales closing experience
  • Track record of over-performance in past roles
  • Past experience on a fast-growing sales team with a preference for hypergrowth companies
  • Past experience with and a strong passion for video sales
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving skills, the ability and the desire to find solutions and build process where none previously exists

The role
As our first infrastructure security engineer, you will secure Loom's next-generation video service for millions of users. You should be able to hack us, and show your work — and then make us better.

Core responsibilities:

  • Build Enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and policies
  • Build security product features — innovate on key management with KMS, rationalize data layer logical isolation, make SSO cool in 2020, and a lot more
  • Stay up to date with Linux zero-days
  • Establish and enforce application security best practices
  • Conduct internal penetration tests
  • Analyze our infrastructure and our applications for potential vulnerabilities
  • Coordinate incident response and assess inbound vulnerability reports

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience working on security infrastructure projects
  • Expert knowledge of iptables and AWS security
  • Strong skills with common infosec tooling, e.g. nmap and snort
  • Solid communication skills to enable knowledge sharing and encourage good internal security practices
  • Solid skills in at least one scripting language, e.g, Python, Ruby, JavaScript

The role
Loom is looking for engineers to propel the next iteration of our creation and collaboration tools forward. As a company, we are looking to accelerate information flow between every member of the global workforce. Be it making Loom's video creation tools faster or more delightful, or surfacing the right content in a shared team library to the right audience, you will be building the base of how Loom functions as a workplace communication tool. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will build a beautiful, snappy, and native-feeling UI experiences across all of our product teams from video creation to enterprise
  • You will optimize and set new standards for application-level tooling to measure product stability and speed
  • You will build product features end-to-end: through conception, exploration, iteration, maintenance, and polish
  • You will own the products that you build and become the domain expert on those subjects within the organization
  • You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Infrastructure to architect features and break down high-level goals into tasks and timelines
  • You will design tools and frameworks that empower other developers
  • You will help with interviewing other talented engineers that want to join Loom

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional JavaScript experience
  • 2+ years of ReactJS (or similar) experience
  • Passion for productivity tools and supporting power users
  • Great design intuition and user empathy
  • Passion for UI fluidity and performance
  • Ability to readily learn most technologies on-the-go
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy

Not Required, but a Plus:

  • Experience with implementing GraphQL in production environments
  • Experience with implementing one of the following:
  • Online video editing suites
  • Architecting and implementing of billing/payments infrastructure
  • Content recommendation engines
  • Video streaming infrastructure with HLS
  • Fluency with Typescript
  • 2+ years spent as a Sr Engineer or Tech Lead

The role
Loom is looking for our first product manager to oversee our core platform including our PC, Mac, and Chrome Extension recorders as well as our web platform. We're changing behavior in the workplace by introducing a new medium of communication. That does not happen often. You will be reporting directly to the founder and CEO who currently fills the role.

This is an exciting time here at Loom. We’re introducing Team and Enterprise offerings over the next 6 months, rolling out our first mobile experience, and looking to tap into the innovation afforded to us via the meta data captured in video. You will be responsible for working with the leadership team to make sure we’re having the most impact for the people and companies who use Loom and aligning that with strategic business value.

Your Responsibilities

  • Talk with customers to help define the roadmap and ensure we are building the right stuff
  • Clearly define and communicate product requirements
  • Drive prioritization for new feature development
  • Work cross functionally with Loom's design, engineering, growth, and sales teams to develop concepts and troubleshoot issues
  • Help the team define and track key success metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing on messaging, positioning and GTM plans

Requirements

  • You love video and believe in its magic to make working more efficient and expressive
  • 3+ years of product management experience
  • You track record for building successful products alongside world class designers and engineers
  • You know when to use data to guide you and when to rely on your great product instincts
  • You're an excellent communicator, natural bridge-builder and unhealthy conflict defuser
  • You're a positive influence and a leader
  • You have an ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy

Not Required, but a Plus

  • Technical background or technical fluency
  • Experience with subscription software and freemium products, additional plus if horizontal SaaS
  • Experience working in a start-up or similar fast-paced, scrappy environment
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups of people
