Where you can help:

As a senior product manager, you’ll be in charge of our growth roadmap. Your goal will be to get more guests to book on Peerspace.
 
You’re not starting from scratch though. You’ll build on a foundation of SEO, virality, and notifications that’s been driving Peerspace’s growth. You’ll also get to work with a team of engineers and designers to make it happen, as well as the marketing and executive teams to shape the strategy.

●      How would you grow an SEO program with hundreds of keywords and thousands of listings?

Your qualifications:

●      You have a minimum 3 years of experience as a product manager with 2 years in growth
●      You can build a growth product roadmap and collaborate with engineering, designers, marketing, and executives to make it happen.
●      You’re comfortable participating in technical discussions with engineering.
●      You have familiarity with the fundamentals of growth, including SEO, virality, and notifications.

●      You can easily create analyses and charts with spreadsheets and / or SQL.

What you’d be joining
Peerspace is growing fast. Last year, we expanded through all 50 states in the U.S., and next month we’re opening Canada for the first time. In total, Peerpsace is home to over 17,000 spaces that people can book by the hour for photo shoots, filming, meetings, events, and more. Over 4 million people have been in a Peerspace, and that may even include you.

What you’d be joining
Peerspace is going global, and that’s where we need your help. We’re looking for a senior product manager who can lead the charge. You’ll set up the product and systems so that Peerspace can launch more countries, each faster than the last. 

Internationalization is a top priority, so you’ll have the resources and executive visibility you need to get the job done. Because of the level of responsibility, we’re looking for someone who already has experience with internationalization and is ready to lead the initiative from day one.

We are looking for an Operations Manager who has experience focusing on business analysis and development.  The Ops Manager’s job has three core components:

1.     to define the company’s supply growth plan
2.     to coordinate and execute growth programs
3.     to optimize the host funnel.

Key Responsibilities:

·Own the strategy and execution for Peerspace host- acquisition, conversion and retention.
·Acquisition: grow the new host acquisition base at breakneck speed. Own both paid and organic host acquisition. Identify and test new acquisition channels (paid and earned) for diversifying and scaling our host acquisition program.
·Inside sales pipeline: Develop better lead capturing with prospective hosts that have visited Peerspace or respective landing pages
·Develop methodologies for allocating and optimizing budgets and bidding on new paid channels (e.g., Facebook, Youtube, Google) to increase host volume and drive down host acquisition costs.
·Conversion: understand the mechanics of a hosts journey and conversion rates at each step of each funnel, and develop tools, processes and campaigns to optimize conversion rates
·Business Analysis: Monitor and assess the performance of the market, host base, and product segments, to identify new and existing areas of opportunity.
·Work with product teams to improve tools and offerings to drive growth in new and existing host segments, channels, etc.
·Develop mechanisms, processes, and measurement of all channels to understand what is working and what needs improvement across the board

For those of us at Peerspace, it's our goal to make every unique space a potential source of inspiration and creativity for businesses and professionals across the world. We need that one-of-a-kind problem solver who can deeply empathize with the issues that guests and hosts currently face, uncover the latent needs that are unmet in the market, and help us create engaging user-experiences that replace the current frustrations with delight. As a Senior Product Design Manager, you will use every tool at your disposal to build an amazing product -- depending on the day this might be attending user research activities with our customers, creating wireframes to model and communicate a user flow, building an interactive prototype, getting to pixel-level perfection in a mockup, sitting side-by-side with an engineer during implementation of your designs, or coaching a designer on your team. We are looking for a senior software engineer with 5 or more years of experience developing back-end services. This engineer will join the back-end team and collaborate in the architecting, design and implementation of our API and related services. This role requires familiarity with technologies that are common on the back-end, including operational aspects, scalability, databases, caches, search engines, etcetera.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of work experience
Working with any language likeClojure, Node.js, Java, Python in back-end development
Likes problem solving
Can think in the short, mid and long terms
Understands issues related to scaling systems both in traffic but also in complexity
Willingness to use and learn new technologies

Nice to haves:

Experience with Clojure
Experience with MongoDB or any NoSQL database
Experience with functional programming
Experience with API design and micro services
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Google Cloud Platform
Experience using Docker Containers
Experience with SQL databases 
Experience in Peer-to-Peer marketplaces
Any experience outside software development
 
Responsibilities:

Help maintain and add features to existing backend services (Primarily Clojure and Javascript ES6 )
Create new Clojure andNode.js backend services
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to complete projects and solve problems
 
 
The majority of the team is based on the West Coast in San Francisco and Los Angeles all currently working remotely.  Will consider other timezones

Peerspace is seeking a creative and energetic professional who is intimately familiar with our brand and the production industry. The Community Manager will be responsible for fostering and growing the Peerspace community through our social channels, online forums, webinars, and in-person events (when it is safe to do so).
 
This is an opportunity to build and cultivate a rapidly growing and enthusiastic community of content creators, producers, and independent media professionals. You will work closely with our product marketing, PR, and growth teams to develop strategies and programs that engage with our users in interesting and creative ways.
 
As our Community Manager you will lead our social media and community strategies to increase brand awareness, grow our social following, user engagement, attract relevant target audiences to our website, and conversions.  You will be an expert in creating compelling and engaging content that educates and engages.  You will build our brand narrative and cultivate our ever-growing fan base across our social platforms.  The role requires creative thinking, strategic mindset, quantitative analysis, outstanding daily execution and a bit of personality.

Responsibilities:

Highlight our users and the awesome content they produce across our channels
Partner with internal teams and industry experts to produce and promote engaging content 
Manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest) and develop a social media growth strategy
Manage our Space for Change social giving program
Facilitate and moderate conversations about our brand and engage with users and prospects on our host forum and other online channels.
Track content, analyze results, and report on key metrics to the leadership team
Create and maintain calendars of your upcoming activities across email campaigns, blog, and social channels.

Requirements:

A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative team environment
2+ years of experience in content production, social media or community management.
Experience working in the production industry or producing content is a huge bonus

Peerspace is looking for a Contract Infrastructure Engineer.  As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a technical team behind building and maintaining Peerspace's services. 

Availability, performance, security, reliability, and automation will be your watchwords. 

You will:

* Work with our Director of Engineering and help our development teams design and implement production and development environments, address system needs in new and creative ways, and ensure that Peerspace's infrastructure is capable of supporting all Peerspace initiatives. 

* Work in a self-guiding, cross-functional team with other humble but highly skilled individuals working in a wide range of technical domains.

* Work alongside internal teams to create and deliver technical strategy.

* Help design and implement solutions for key pieces of infrastructure for deployment, monitoring, alerting, data storage, networking and security.

* Evaluate new tools and technologies based on feature requirements, cost effectiveness, and reliability.

* Occasionally help support Peerspace employees utilize and access services that the company relies on.


Who you should be:

* A veteran: for 5+ years, you've built servers of all types, in the cloud and in containers, and bare even metal back in the day. You have kept an online production environment humming. 
You have experience running critical production systems and you're a pro with Linux operating systems. 

* Experience with all things GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is a must. Specifically GKE,Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, VPC Networks/Firewalls

*Experience and knowledge of infrastructure and security vendor landscape

* An automator: you realize that automation is the key to scaling. You've similarly grokked, deployed, and supported applications across various tech stacks and multiple regions; you're familiar with the core concepts of object-oriented, functional, and other programming paradigms and have used one or more modern source control management tools.

* Distributed by default: you've worked with distributed big data, caching, networking, and application systems in the past, so you're familiar with the core concepts of distributed systems. You understand the challenges of global cloud networking. You're proficient with basic distributed systems and networking troubleshooting tools.

* Tuning master: you're penny wise. You rightsize cloud and server resources to meet the demand versus over-engineering.

* Adaptable: you're able to rapidly change direction when priorities shift, stay focused on the most relevant issues and can evolve and shift to meet them as needed.

* DevOps: you believe devops is a state of mind and you operate with total ownership. You recognize the value of iterative development and the buck stops at you for quality and support of what you deploy into production.

* Security: Paranoia is an old friend, you operate by the principle of least privilege, keep everything up to date and believe that everything should be encrypted. 

You should have:

* A solid 5+ years of being a Linux systems/network administrator.
* Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
* Experience working with DevOps and Agile/Scrum teams.
* Experience with containers - docker and kubernetes.
* Experience with vulnerability, risk management, and IT compliance
* Experience working with production environments in GCP and cloud environments
