As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will build and scale the foundations for production engineering, developer operations, and deployments. You will also work hand-in-hand with the product teams to help ship features. You will be responsible for keeping the ship sailing smoothly, and your creations will serve as the bedrock for products serving millions of users.

Our Sales team combines deep product and industry knowledge and is focused on bringing Plaid to an ever-broadening set of businesses. Our thesis is that every company in financial services, and most specifically the Banks themselves, can benefit from better technology and access to data. 

We’re building a team to work exclusively with the leading banks throughout North America to help enable their transformation to deliver incredible digital and consumer experiences to their customers, at the scale and quality needed by the largest banks.  

Your focus will be on developing & leading large, complex new enterprise deals and building strong, long-lasting relationships with the banks to execute on their vision. Furthermore, you'll help shape how we engage, design and build products for the best brands in banking.

  • Identify potential customers and run the end-to-end sales process
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprises, from executives to product teams and to developers
  • Work with our sales and marketing teams to define and execute our sales strategy

  • Significant experience (10+ years of quota-carrying experience) in a new-revenue role and a strong track record of closing enterprise-level deals (5+ years focused on enterprise customers) with large target customers

The Conversion team helps more users successfully connect their financial institutions by building the best-in-class onboarding experience in the FinTech ecosystem. Today we primarily focus on Link, which is how millions of users interact with Plaid in some of the most popular apps in the world.
As a full-stack engineer on the team, you’ll work on a mix of quick experiments and longer-term strategic initiatives that are core to Plaid’s continued success. Even small changes, such as changing an animation, have lifted conversion for all of Plaid’s customers by 1%. We exercise a hypothesis-driven mindset and frequently consult data to guide our development. Every team member is deeply involved in shaping our roadmap and coming up with their own experiments to test.

Developer Support Engineer

Plaid’s products enable thousands of developers to build the next generation of financial services applications. When those developers need help, they turn to the Plaid Support team. Our goal is to help customers quickly and compassionately; keeping their applications running and their end-users happy. We quantify the scope and impact of these problems, we identify causes, and when we can’t fix them ourselves, we work with our Growth and Engineering teams to reach a solution. 

Developer Support Engineers help application developers find success using Plaid products. People who do well in this role tend to be empathetic, collaborative, and technically-minded. As a DSE your scope of work will at times go beyond assisting clients with questions; you will be the voice of the client within Plaid and may also find yourself working cross-functionally, spearheading projects to lead training and development, and contributing to developer resources. We have optimistic goals, and we work on interesting, cross-functional projects to achieve them.


What You'll Do:

  • Help developers use our products by gaining an intricate knowledge of how Plaid works and how to use our API to help customers. This includes setting up Plaid integrations, navigating the Plaid Dashboard, understands client libraries, answering questions about Plaid concepts including how to: implement Link, our front-end authentication module, understand webhook functionality, handle error codes.
  • Investigate bugs by identifying an issue’s root cause, describe an issue’s symptoms, quantify an issue’s scope and severity
  • Help on projects by working with the Support team and other cross-functional team members to help us accomplish our Support goals, acting as the voice of our customer within other teams at Plaid. As a DSE you will have unique and valuable insight from our clients and will be encouraged to provide insight to other teams.
