We are seeking an Account Executive to deliver amazing lab productivity and purchasing to small- and medium-sized R&D organizations. 

You’re the type of person who is motivated by building relationships. It’s easy for you to communicate with others - by both listening and empathizing as well as getting your point across in a clear and concise manner. You’re naturally curious, and don’t stop asking questions until you fully understand the situation. While you are competitive by nature, you like working in a team environment and are motivated by the success of those around you. You should be accustomed to handling your own pipeline and meeting demanding quotas. The role will report to the Director of Sales and will help strategically shape the sales team at Quartzy.

What you'll do

  • Work in a geographic territory to add new users and customer to the Quartzy platform, specifically small and medium-size biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Effectively build, manage, and report on your pipeline, using tools like SalesForce, Looker and others.
  • Own the sales process from lead qualification to outreach to close.
  • Communicate and educate across customer organizations, including to finance, IT, scientists, and lab managers.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years sales B2B SaaS sales 
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication
  • Proven track record of sales achievement, especially in a quota-carrying environment
  • Interest(or a background!) in life science would be helpful
  • A tech savvy AE who has experiencing working in a variety of different technology(we use Salesforce,  Zendesk and other sales automation tools)
  • Prior experience working / selling remotely, a plus

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Quartzy is seeking a tech-savvy Accounts Receivable Specialist to play a critical role in helping the company scale. In this role, you will be managing all day to day accounts receivable tasks including cash application, collections, customer requests and assist with any ad hoc requests.

What you'll do

  • Collections from customer to reduce outstanding AR
  • Contact customers to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Timely and accurate posting of cash application and make adjustments as needed
  • Work with third party to resolve all cash application issues
  • Maintain customer profiles to include updated accounting information
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years of accounts payable experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Familiarity with Zendesk and Excel
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus

Quartzy is seeking a senior recruiter to help Quartzy scale our headcount for the next phase of growth. In this role, you will lead the talent acquisition function including full cycle recruitment, defining an amazing candidate experience and leading efforts around process improvement and DEI.

  • Work closely with hiring managers to hire other amazing“Quarriors”(that’s what we call ourselves!)
  • Responsible for the complete life cycle of the recruitment process including posting jobs, sourcing, scheduling interviews, interviewing and leading debrief meetings.
  • Assess our current recruitment tools and processes and lead the efforts to make any changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Be a Quartzy cultural ambassador
  • Lead our DEI recruitment efforts for the company 

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of full cycle recruiting(and you’ve been scrappy before without a team of recruitment coordinators to help) 
  • Corporate recruitment experience required, some agency experience a plus 
  • Someone who is passionate about the candidate experience 
  • Experience in the DEI recruitment space(or interest in digging into this space)
  • A recruiter who loves building a network of amazing candidates 
  • Prior experience in the recruitment process improvement / project management space

About the role
Quartzy is looking for an experienced growth marketing lead. You will define integrated campaigns, working across marketing and sales teams. You will define campaigns by market segment and persona, design multi-touch / omni-channel campaigns to drive engagement and leads that convert to SaaS subscriptions. Key to the success of this position is collaboration, and a thorough understanding of demand generation program development including the marketing technology stack and a creative streak that helps design campaigns that drive maximum results.
 
You are a master project manager and are known for your immaculate attention to detail. You have a proven history of analyzing data to identify areas of opportunity, executing experiments in highly cross-functional environments, and an ownership mentality. You will analyze content data, persona information, and content journey maps to determine what content is needed and recommend strategies to make content more effective. You will create and execute schedules and campaigns based on company priorities; identify editorial opportunities for content and provide improvement plans.

What you'll do

  • Develop innovative multi-channel marketing campaigns that bring to life the value of Quartzy
  • Drive customer acquisition through outbound marketing activities
  • Understand the target customer and work with marketing and sales teams to hit relevant customer pain points and deliver business value
  • Manage email sends to our database of contacts
  • Setup tracking to measure effectiveness of each campaign
  • Consistently iterate and improve on marketing programs through analysis and program optimization

What we'd like

  • 4+ years’ experience in growth marketing and demand generation including email, search and social media marketing, and webinars
  • Campaign orchestration experience and comfort level working cross-functionally
  • Experience using data to improve campaign performance and technology to automate and optimize campaign results
  • Curiosity and need to understand the “why” with a knack for problem-solving
  • Solid understanding of Marketing Tech, especially Adwords and Hubspot or equivalent

Sales Operations Analyst
 
The role of the Sales Operations Lead is the foundation of our growth efforts. The role is tasked with establishing repeatable processes and programs that are efficient and effective to optimize and create an agile demand and growth model. We are looking for a problem solver, team player and relationship builder with an experienced understanding of SaaS business operations.

Where You Can Make an Impact

  • Document the current demand process and identify gaps in current processes and systems, focusing on the enhancement of sales productivity
  • Improve data integrity through data cleansing, market segmentation, data alignment and implementing process and workflow improvements
  • Create operational processes to improve the efficiency of demand programs
  • Actively monitor, analyze and report on the health of the sales pipeline

What you’ll do

  • Develop new reports and dashboards that highlight critical data and uncover valuable insights on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand and address gaps in current processes
  • Own data integrity between our Quartzy application, Salesforce, Hubspot, and Looker
  • Manage database hygiene and optimization; develop/execute strategy for monitoring and improving gaps in data health and performance, including de-duplication, list import standardization, demographic/firmographic enrichment, etc.
  • Monitor, measure and analyze campaigns and programs across sales and marketing
  • Deliver cross-system performance reports to leadership and other stakeholders

What we’d like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Data Science
  • 2+ years of operations experience in SaaS;  startup experience preferred
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and ROI down to the most granular details while providing reporting and insight
  • Expertise with SQL, Advanced Excel, Salesforce, Hubspot, Looker, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Roll up your sleeves, can-do attitude
