The Formulation Scientist Consultant, Dietary Supplements will focus on providing scientific expertise and knowledge to our cross-functional Over the Counter Product Development team.  You will work closely with the Product Development, Clinical, and Marketing teams to research and determine the new dietary supplement formulations to support the product roadmap. You will report to the SVP of Medical Affairs and Research.

What You'll Do:

  • Provides scientific expertise on our OTC Product Development squad responsible for research, developing and launching new formulations for dietary supplement and wellness products
  • Investigate and translate research results and scientific data into engaging narratives to support expansion efforts
  • Develop formulations for products such as Men’s and Women’s Health and Wellness products, including vitamins and supplements.  
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures with regards to marketing dietary supplement products

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Strong research skills to define dietary supplement formulations, including ingredients and dosages, and identify potential product claims based on recommended formulations
  • Ability to work well with external vendors
  • Possess strong understanding of required product testing and QA practices
  • Strong ability and enthusiasm for contributing to cross-functional teams with non-scientific backgrounds
  • Ability to create slide decks and graphs to visually represent complex information
  • Ability to translate complex scientific concepts and jargon into easy to understand language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen understanding and eye for quality and patient preferences, especially in relation to product development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines
  • PhD or Masters (with relevant experience) in one of the following or related fields: Pharmacology, Medical Pharmacology, Biomedical engineering, Chemistry, Materials science and engineering or Polymer Science
  • Managed and developed innovative products in or health/wellness
  • Managed formulation from concept to launch

Bonus Points:

  • Strong manufacturing relationships in the dietary supplement industry
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and ideal ingredient profiles for dietary supplements
  • Strong experience in dietary supplement formulation across form factors: liquids, capsules, powders, quick dissolve and tablets

As a Lead IT Security Compliance & Governance Analyst at Ro, you will help lead the effort of identifying and maintaining IT security and compliance practices. You will achieve this by first, working closely with business units such as Legal, Engineering, Product, and Care teams in identifying risks. Second, by providing insightful subject matter expertise, analyses, and countermeasures. Third, you will further extend the growth of an innovative, safety, and privacy-minded healthcare tech culture by helping shape IT Security and compliance initiatives.  Additionally, the opportunity at Ro as a Lead IT Security Compliance & Governance Analyst is full spectrum. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and monitor security awareness campaigns to educate the workforce
  • Collaborate with Legal, IT, and Security in maintaining and updating company security policies
  • Lead assessments and report on IT Security control effectiveness
  • Lead IT compliance process improvements and related initiatives
  • Lead quantitative risk practices, ongoing risk management, and associated initiatives
  • Lead vendor security reviews in collaboration with Legal and technical security analysts teams

What You’ll Bring:

  • Growth mindset and an innate passion for learning
  • Exceptional communication practices (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Security and regulatory compliance domain knowledge (e.g. SOC, HITRUST, ISO, Networks, systems, access controls, app sec, DLP, etc.  )
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience  

Bonus Skills:

  • Security certifications in good standing: EC-Council, ISC2 (CISSP), SANS GIAC, OSCP, etc.
  • Startup experience in highly regulated industries such as Healthcare, FinTech, or Defense.

The Outreach Coordinator functions as part of the Medical Operations team, working primarily in support of the full-time and network physicians. The Outreach Coordinator will be paired with a dedicated team of physicians to provide support. The Outreach Coordinator maintains member-facing contact, conducting personalized outreach to members who require additional assistance completing their treatment request. Acting as the liaison between the member and physician for non-medical issues, the Medical Coordinator forms an integral part of the member’s healthcare team at Ro. 

This is a 3-month contracting position.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct outreach to patients requiring follow-up for non-clinical, administrative issues
  • Assist patients with scheduling and completing phone and video appointments with their provider 
  • Assist with other provider/member-related ad hoc project

What You'll Do:

  • Field and respond to member inquiries across all channels (phone and email) with a primary focus on phones
  • Help with member onboarding, product education, and general troubleshooting
  • Educate members on product and pricing, and answering onboarding questions
  • Help troubleshoot issues with account management, shipments, and billing teams
  • Be the eyes and ears of the patient, alerting the development and fulfillment teams of any technical issues that could potentially impact the patient experience. Also, be their head, shoulders, knees, and toes...
