We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help elevate our enterprise communications platform used by the largest companies in the world with the most technically complex environments you can find. Ready for a challenge?

We are a distributed team. Yes, we have offices in several cities but we build solutions for distributed workforces so we model our workforce the same way. In this role you really can work where you want.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver scalable and automated services and architecture - Infrastructure as code
  • Architect, design and implement solutions with cloud native solutions within AWS
  • Automate software delivery pipelines for various applications and services
  • Ensure full-stack software solutions are architected and delivered using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies (immutable infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, version control on everything, self-healing applications)
  • Collaborate to define best practices and standards around DevOps and service resilience
  • Create reusable automation libraries that can be applied across the enterprise
  • Develop usage standards, user self-service designs, and reporting on application KPIs
  • Identify gaps, suggest improvements and coordinate monitoring, alerting and logging of improvements
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform on-call duties

The Ideal Candidate

  • Cloud Experience:
  • Has 4+ years of operating on large scale production environments (AWS required).
  • AWS core services experience (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS)
  • Has demonstrable knowledge of DevOps in an Enterprise setting, specifically within AWS (AWS EKS/Docker/Container/Helm technology experience highly preferred).
  • Experience with CircleCI or other common CI/CD platforms
  • Problem Solving:
  • Very strong troubleshooting skills with AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux; ideally when under high pressure situations
  • Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly and guide others
  • Is comfortable performing requirements analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels and documenting solutions
  • Technical Acumen:
  • Has the ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences both in writing, in diagrams, and in person
  • Doesn’t mind talking with prospects or customers to walk through the technical and security aspects of the platform

We are currently seeking a Sr. Professional Services Engineer as part of the Client Engineering team to translate business requirements into technical actions. The Client Engineer will partner with customers, Project Managers, Engagement Managers and various members of the SocialChorus team to ensure customer deliverables align with the customer need.

 This senior position will play an important role mentoring other members of the Client Engineering team to become better technical consultants. As an expert using Rest API’s to design and implement customer solutions, you will grow the services and infrastructure required to guide and assist customers and partners in their efforts to integrate 3rd party systems with SocialChorus. You will also use your knowledge of Ruby on Rails to identify opportunities to update the SocialChorus API and develop new CE services and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Help define and implement a vision to grow the services offered by the Client Engineering team

  • Leverage our Partner API and our Integration Platform to integrate the SocialChorus platform with 3rd party systems

Qualfications

  • 5+ years experience with software development tools and environments

We are currently seeking a Sr. Client Engineer as part of the Client Engineering team to translate business requirements into technical actions. The Sales Director is responsible for new enterprise account acquisition in the Eastern half of the United States. This includes developing and executing a go-to-market strategy while working closely with SDRs to cultivate relationships with decision makers in target accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Use a consultative approach to lead the sales process from first meeting through close
  • Orchestrate other roles into the sales process as appropriate – technical validation, solution consulting, professional services, etc. to help getty buy-in and build the plan to execute the vision for the SocialChorus platform

As part of our distributed team working from anywhere, the Solutions Engineer is a key contributor to our pre-sales team performing a wide range of duties supporting the sales and account management teams with our enterprise prospects and customers.

An ideal candidate will have sufficient technical and functional experience to deeply understand the SocialChorus platform and how it fits into complex enterprise technology stacks to meet desired business requirements. Candidates will need to be both commercially and technically minded, comfortable working for a dynamic organization with prospective customers across multiple verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Be a functional and technical subject matter expert on the SocialChorus platform
  • Evangelize all aspects of platform technology: infrastructure, security, reliability, functionality, ease of setup, flexibility of integration options

The Client Engineer will partner with customers, Project Managers, Engagement Managers and various members of the SocialChorus team to ensure customer deliverables align with the customer need.

This role entails a broad breadth of technical skills and interests to assist our customers in the implementation and ongoing updates of the SocialChorus platform. This person will need to know HTML/CSS to produce custom emails and web pages. The successful candidate will also be expected to help set up user authentication, set up SFTP servers, and configure the integration with 3rd party systems. To succeed in this team, you must have the ambition to work independently in a remote environment while working as a team with other members through various remote communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Create customer specific email and newsletter templates based on SocialChorus customer requirements
  • Create customer specific Pendo guides and content card templates (web pages) based on SocialChorus customer requirements
  • Leverage our Partner API and our Integration Platform to integrate the SocialChorus platform with 3rd party systems
  • Implement configuration changes requested by SocialChorus customers to customize the platform to meet their internal workflow and employee communication strategy.
  • Complete the technical tasks required to onboard new SocialChorus customers. This includes file transfer setup, user authentication setup (including SSO), and mobile app configuration. 
  • Efficiently solve problems by driving collaboration with customers and co-workers via video calls and onsite visits
  • Work with a team of Client Engineers to continuously improve the services delivered to SocialChorus customers.

Qualifications

The Operations Analyst will also be the department system administrator managing several key CS&S systems.

You will be responsible for many of the tasks required to keep the CS&S team operating smoothly. You’ll work extensively with internal team members while also managing smaller requests coming directly from SocialChorus customers to ensure no balls are dropped.

Responsibilities

  • Set up all new customers in the CS&S  systems (i.e., SocialChorus Studio, Slack, Confluence, OpenAir, Gainsight, Salesforce, etc.).Develop and maintain an organized set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the CS&S team.
  • Manage incoming customer requests for post implementation assistance, making sure all requests are properly assigned to resources (taking on ownership of smaller efforts personally).
  • Build, manage, execute, and report on customer surveys including NPS and customer implementation surveys
  • Task management and scheduling of internal resources
  • Act as CS&S administrator of key systems used by the team (currently this list includes OpenAir, Jira, Confluence, Gainsight, Salesforce, and Monday.com)

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of operations or project coordination or project management experience at a software or SaaS company

As part of our distributed team working from anywhere, the Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a key contributor to our post-sale Technical Services team performing a wide range of duties for an assigned list of large enterprise customers.

An ideal candidate will have strong facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and an ability to build relationships with all levels within the organization. Successful candidates will have technical and account management experience, a proven track record of successfully interfacing with customers on both technical and non-technical levels, substantial experience driving concurrent projects and issues to completion with little direction, and above all, a passion for ensuring a top quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical management and product technical support for assigned SocialChorus customers
  • Go beyond break-fix support by becoming a true technical partner for your customers by helping to shape their implementation and growth strategy
  • Establish strong relationships with the SocialChorus Account Teams on your assigned customers
  • Establish strong relationships with the SocialChorus Customer Engineering, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure proper management and priority escalation of your assigned customer requests
  • Meet regularly with assigned customers, both remotely and on-site, to review support interactions, system status, major issues, upcoming releases, feature request status, and services activity
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of your assigned customers’ technical environment to understand and even predict potential SocialChorus platform problems within their deployment
  • Team up with the SocialChorus Engagement Manager assigned to your accounts to be the advocate and voice for customer requirements and challenges within various teams at SocialChorus
  • Direct crisis and incident response, working with the customer Success team and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution, while communicating effectively with customers. This will require customer responses outside of normal business hours for high severity issues
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of SocialChorus’ product offerings and be able to mentor staff on best practices, preferred configurations, and next steps for customer issues
  • Advocate for product enhancements with Engineering & Product Management to solve customer challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a technical account manager, professional services, sales engineer, or support engineer role with exposure to multiple SaaS platforms
  • Knowledge of project management and strong account management skills
  • Very strong customer service and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong drive to look at challenges and help define solutions
  • Experience working closely with engineering and support teams to triage and assign technical issues
  • Proficient with REST, SAML 2, and oAuth
  • Ability to manage multiple customer projects in parallel
  • Comfortable in ambiguous start-up environments
  • Proven track record of managing large enterprise accounts
  • Experience with Jira or similar ticket tracking systems a plus
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, Ruby, Java, Python is a plus.
