The Financial Systems Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Accounting and Finance team with daily operations inside Netsuite. This person will manage user permissions, custom reports/searches and user workflow automation requests and be on the front lines for all systems owned by the Finance department. They will maintain data and business process integrity across expense systems, credit card platforms, Tax solutions, and AP automation systems.

What You'll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for NetSuite and third party financial system user needs. 
  • Be responsible for NetSuite data and process integrity - optimize Netsuite according to business requirements.
  • Implement best practices for NetSuite and third party financial systems -  ensure optimal use and ongoing system alignment. 
  • Maintain third party financial systems payment methods, approval routing, system controls, and import processes.
  • Maintain financial system integration points and documentation - including employee travel systems and credit card platforms. 
  • Support financial system reporting needs of department subteams - AP, AR, Finance, Deal Desk.
  • Customize NetSuite views, reports, and searches according to department subteam requirements. 
  • Maintain user roles & permissions as the company/team grows for all financial systems. 
  • Train business users on all financial systems - NetSuite and third party financial systems.
  • Maintain user guides for NetSuite processes and third party financial systems.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years experience with NetSuite, NetSuite Administrator Certification a plus: Experience configuring NetSuite forms, fields and workflows.
  • Experience customizing NetSuite reports, searches, and dashboards.
  • Experience maintaining users, roles & permissions, and all Master Data.
  • Experience turning business processes into NetSuite processes and implementing NetSuite best practices. 
  • Deep understanding of end to end business processes:  Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report.
  • Good working knowledge of Accounting Tools/Systems:  Expense Systems, Credit Card Platforms, Payment Collection Systems, Bank Systems. 
  • Excellent Communication Skills:  Ability to concisely explain complex cross-functional processes. Ability to create clear/simple documentation - process guides & diagrams. 
  • Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: Data analysis with Excel - vlookups & pivot tables.

Building Evaluations of Dataiku: the Sales Engineer supports prospective clients that wish to evaluate our technology by...

  • Structuring evaluations by identifying the core capabilities that need to be tested, and defining the most efficient way for them to be tested
  • Building the evaluation project plan, with detailed timelines and responsibilities
  • Marshaling the necessary resources from within Dataiku and the client organisation in order to ensure that the evaluation progresses efficiently
  • Monitoring and ensuring that the evaluation goes to plan, and addressing any issues that may come up during the evaluation

As a sales engineer, you will:

  • Work with multiple Account Executives & partners to support opportunity qualification process
  • Make direct presentations to prospective customers and partners using knowledge of industry trends and standards and common industry challenges coupled with Dataiku solution knowledge
  • Prepare the technical responses during the RFP and RFI process
  • Drive the process of delivering high-quality product and architecture presentations and demonstrations
  • Configure the Dataiku product and demonstrate advanced product concepts
  • Train partners and customers on products and features and assist in implementation of the product.
  • Customize and present Customer Presentations for every Customer/Industry/Role
  • Ensure to follow up on problems and process independently related to solutions engineering whatever in pre-sale or implementation capacity ensuring excellent customer experience.
  • Lead Support the validation and implementation of technical requirements with customers ensuring smooth deployment of solutions, working with the R&D & Operations.

As a Sales Engineer at Pachyderm, you will be part of a small, elite, customer-facing engineering team (think Seal Team 6) devoted to solving challenging infrastructure and data platform issues for both our open source users and enterprise customers. This can be anything from debugging network issues to architecting complex machine learning pipelines to troubleshooting Kubernetes and Docker. This role is perfect for engineers who love working directly with customers and prefer to witness success alongside the user first-hand.
 
In this role will own the responsibility for delivering the technical win at customer accounts. You will lead the technical pre-sales relationship, propose technical architectures, demonstrate the platform, anticipate concerns, and offer creative solutions. You goal is to build customer trust in Pachyderm which will result in customer success in the post-sale. 
 
This is mostly a pre-sales role role focused on maximizing value for our enterprise deployments, but will also include working with Support Engineering, engaging with prominent OSS users, and being part of our broader customer success org. You will help manage our customers through deployment, training, implementation of best practices, and ongoing troubleshooting. These projects can range from small projects at AI technology startups to fortune 100 enterprise implementations.
 
Additionally, this role is both HIGHLY technical and a skilled relationship builder. They will be comfortable showing an engaging communications experience to a CEO or sketching out a containerized infrastructure in Kubernetes and Docker. You will be part of the customer facing engineering team and thus an integral technical resource for sales. We are looking for someone who understands the value of the product, can answer technical questions, qualify the technical aptitude of potential sales opportunities, and be a trusted advisor. 
 
While you'll have direct access and support from our engineering team, you will also have ample opportunity to commit to the core Pachyderm codebase yourself. As an open source project, detailed GitHub issues are great, but PRs are pure gold!
 
While your primary focus will of course be driving the technical pre-sales process, you’ll also have direct exposure to users and enterprise customers via our open source support channels.  At Pachyderm, OSS user and customer feedback is major driver of our product roadmap and we believe that everyone within the company should experience that first-hand.
 
Pachyderm is just a small team right now, so you'd be getting in right at the ground floor and have an enormous impact on the success and direction of the company and product. However, this also means that you will with customer support, help align on goals and KPI’s and contribute to customer success. In addition to Solutions Engineering, our first few hires in these roles will also be doing some Support and Implementation Engineering and Technical Account Management. We are looking for an HR Business Parner to oversee HR operations in the APAC region. You will report directly to our Director HRBP based in Paris.  This role focuses on ensuring the smooth execution of all HR processes for our employees, starting right after the onboarding. This role will be based in the company’s office in Singapore and will include travels to other Dataiku locations in the area (mainly Australia for the time being).

The successful candidate will be interested in working in the HR field and has worked as an HR generalist or HR administrator, ideally in a fast-paced and international company. We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented partner who can help us champion Dataiku in the APAC region. This candidate will be an integral part of the HR team yet should feel comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • HR Operations: 
  • Be the first point of contact for general HR queries from managers and employees in the APAC region
  • Support and manage HR processes (onboarding, off-boarding, employee life-cycle processes etc.): including laptops purchase & set up
  • Preparation of HR documentation (employment letters, immigration, contracts etc.)

  • Payroll & Admin:
  • Run payroll and oversee benefits
  • Audit and improve - if need be - all benefits scheme for the regions (health insurance, pension, etc)
  • Facilitate international mobilities by coordinating relocation locally with our providers according to the company policy(including but not limited to  immigration and tax topics)

  • HR projects:

Our Frontend Engineers are responsible for developing high performance, responsive user interfaces for Circonus. The clean, intuitive, and beautiful user interfaces you build will play a critical role in the Circonus user experience -- allowing users to navigate through data and visually manipulate massive data sets to gain new insights.

You’ll develop core front-end components of a fast, scalable, complex web application (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and Vue.js) using your expert level knowledge of JavaScript. The sleek, beautiful results of your work make you an integral part of our team as you define, design, and develop new features, while improving existing ones.

In particular, we’re seeking someone to help lead an effort to rewrite a legacy jQuery-based application with Vue.js. Prior experience with such a rewrite is strongly preferred - please mention it directly within your cover letter.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the office or remotely, or both (but not at the same time)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development team to bring static designs and prototypes to life, providing constructive feedback to optimize implementation and usability
  • Design, build, maintain, and deploy scalable, standards driven web applications with HTML, CSS, and Javascript

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience architecting, designing, and developing user-interfaces in a commercial software environment
  • Experience re-architecting and/or re-implementing UIs for a legacy enterprise web application
  • Significant experience designing, implementing, and modifying responsive web applications with jQuery and Vue.js
  • Experience using and/or building component libraries with jQuery, Vue.js, BootstrapUI or Highcharts
  • Fluency with HTML5, CSS, Javascript and Canvas
  • Comfortable quickly developing prototype and/or throwaway code to prove out new/cutting edge integrations or Circonus functions and features
  • Comfortable working with git and GitHub for version control, including opening/reviewing pull requests, branches, etc
  • Ability to take on and complete tasks in unfamiliar IT environments
  • Significant experience planning, prioritizing, and organizing
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills

In this role, you'll help the team:

  • Provide technical solutions and respond to technical requests from customers through a variety of different communication channels 
  • Manage and resolve support issues with a high degree of technical complexity
  • Act as a liaison between clients and other Dataiku teams (such as Customer Success, Engineering, Data Science, etc.) to help deliver a fast and efficient resolution to issues or questions that have been raised by our end users 
  • Improve efficiencies by documenting and standardizing support processes along with capturing or developing best practices 
  • Develop tools that will help in diagnosing, resolving, and triaging hard-to-get-at problems
  • Document knowledge in the form of incident notes, technical articles, and contributions to knowledge bases or forums within specific areas of expertise
  • Follow-up on customer commitments in a timely manner, balancing effectively both processes with the need to adapt to the situation, along with relaying lessons learned and feedback internally to our other client-facing and technical teams

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • A strong competency in technical problem solving, with demonstrated experience working with advanced log analysis and other debugging techniques 
  • Proficiency working with Unix-based operating systems
  • Comfort working with and reading customer code
  • Experience working with at least one type of relational database and SQL Grit when faced with technical issues - you don’t rest until you understand what is happening and why things are not working 
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical individuals as needed 
  • Ability to be autonomous, resourceful, and a proactive self-starter, while also remaining process-oriented and a team player

Bonus points for any of these:

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a client-facing engineering or technical role, ideally involving a complex and rapidly evolving software/product 
  • Experience working with a multitude of analytics and big data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, Docker/K8s, and various other database or BI technologies)

A bit about this role:

We are looking for a data scientist who can serve as a liaison to our Operational teams to answer important and timely questions about the health of the business.  We are looking for someone who has broad experience in Medicare Advantage analytics functions — e.g. Finance, Risk Adjustment, Stars, Pharmacy — and deep experience in at least one area.  This role will report into our Data Science team, and will work alongside Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Business Leads to solve key challenges for the company.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with key business stakeholders to understand the analytical needs of the business and providing insight in a rapid, iterative, and collaborative process
  • Developing thoughtful reports and dashboards that help Operations teams improve their business decision-making
  • Identifying patterns in the analyses you conduct, and using those patterns to improve our tools and processes so we can deliver results more quickly and accurately
  • Sharing your domain knowledge with technical team-members who do not have an MA background
  • Communicating results to an audience of mixed technical backgrounds

Desired skills and experience:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • 2+ years of technical work at a Medicare Advantage plan or service provider

We're looking for a Documentation Engineer to lead the implementation of a comprehensive docs strategy; creating content such as new tutorials, architectural diagrams, API docs, and training courses. This is a highly technical role that will require you use and teach our product, understand infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes and Docker and leverage all the various cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate is ex-engineer who loves teaching, creative problem solving, interacting with the community, and is an expert collaborator. While extensive programming experience is not a requirement, you will have the opportunity to do some development work with our docs infrastructure (mkdocs), training tutorial platform (katacoda), and building examples for webinars, conferences, and training videos.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain our documentation infrastructure, web portal, and release process
  • Write documentation for new product features
  • Build how-to and training tutorials for Pachyderm, Data Science Workflows, Kubernetes, and Cloud infra best practices
  • Own and develop the Pachyderm Training Platform, Pachyderm Academy (should we call it PachAdemy?) including katacoda, training courses, youtube tutorial channel, and an eventual Pachyderm Certification process
  • Explore other data science products in the ecosystem (complementary and competitive) and help build integration PoCs
  • Define recommendations on content standards, needed improvements, and content gaps
  • Prioritize and document customer and user bugs to inform engineering efforts

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of engineering, development, and/or technical writing experience
  • Must be comfortable working with code, dev tools such as Docker as well as the terminal
  • Intermediate development experience in Python, R, or Go is considered a huge plus
  • A love for teaching, explaining concepts, and empowering users and other community members
  • A track record of producing timely, high quality, and relevant technical content
  • Ability to handle deadlines and remain highly organized while delivering multiple pieces of content at the same time

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an expert to help us build a cybersecurity course. 
This will be an online 6- to 9-month program designed to help students find an entry-level blue-team cybersecurity analyst job within 6 months of graduation. You’ll set the vision to ensure we’re teaching all that is needed to succeed as a cybersecurity analyst, in the different domains of policy, networking, and technical tools. Your work will include designing instructional modules and exercises so students can both learn and practice applying fundamental cybersecurity concepts, helping them shine during interviews and ultimately on the job.

This role will be a part-time contract role for a duration of ~4 months starting immediately. We estimate a workload of roughly 20 hours per week and ask that you’re available to work synchronously during PST hours on weekdays. Given the current pandemic, this will be a remote opportunity. This is a paid engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision for effectively teaching the key cybersecurity concepts required to secure an entry-level position
  • Work with a Springboard instructional designer to define learning outcomes and structure a curriculum of learning modules, exercises, or other teaching methods to realize that vision
  • Support instructional design in curating content and building modules as required 
  • Design exercises that allow students to improve their cybersecurity skills through live practice and industry exposure, including in lab environments
  • Create rubrics for mentors to evaluate student work (in projects & lab environments)
  • Provide supporting lesson descriptions in the Springboard format
  • Provide expert guidance on the most effective strategies and tactics to help graduates stand out during their cybersecurity interviews

You have

  • Experience as a hiring manager for entry-level cybersecurity roles
  • Currently working in cybersecurity in the US for 5+ years, preferably with experience in both network security and application security
  • Clear point of view on what skills are needed in an entry-level cybersecurity role and how to teach them in a structured manner
  • Strong familiarity with NIST CSF and other industry-wide standards
  • Advanced understanding of core cybersecurity tools, including Kali Linux, Wireshark, Splunk, Snort, etc.
  • CISSP certification and basic understanding of the certification landscape
  • Passion for educating and guiding the next generation of cybersecurity analysts
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills and diligence in meeting deadlines

We’re now looking to build out our analytics capability with our first Sr. Analytics Engineer.  This position would be part of the Data Science Team and own Analytics at Tesorio.  This position will be creating production quality dashboards for Tesorio customers and internal stakeholders such as Product, Sales, and Marketing.  We are looking for someone who has the combination of data engineering skills, business sense, and ability to speak directly with executives.

About The Role: Kitces.com is hiring a Lead Developer/System Architect to be responsible for architecting and developing the technology that underlies the Kitces.com platform (currently built on WordPress). We are preparing to rebuild our technology stack almost from the ground up (maintaining a WordPress front-end but an entirely new back-end), and require a full stack developer with significant architecturing experience. We need someone who has experience storing and retrieving datasets, building data warehouses, and setting up connections for data including APIs. While this is not necessarily a “big data” project, building for efficiency and future scalability are critical. You will be our first full time dedicated developer but will continue to work with contract developers who have experience on the platform.

We intend to build a “Kitces Member Database” (KMD) which will include information about our readers, the content they consume on site, CE programs they have taken, and trends in their usage of the platform. This information will be used by our team to improve content, identify additional advisor needs, and to provide more targeted value to our readers. We want add more personalization into our customer experience.

Kitces.com is currently run on a WordPress platform with a few integrations including MailChimp, ActiveCampaign, and Zapier. We plan to keep our blog on WordPress, a new system needs to be created for our members who will be taking quizzes, watching webinars, accesses documents and other resources, and taking courses. Much of the membership functionality is managed by the Memberium WordPress plugin which we intend to replace.

Description/Responsibilities

This entirely virtually-based staff position (work from anywhere, no relocation required!) will report directly to the Director of Platform & Reader Experience, and serve as the Lead Developer for the Kitces.com technology platform. A major portion of this job will involve building out databases, datasets, and integrations. This job is about building functionality for for a customer data platform (CDP) by collecting, sorting, and reporting data (but not necessarily interpreting data; a data science background is not required), and will eventually entail connecting this data to future applications we will build for our readers, and expressed in our front-end WordPress blog.

We will rely heavily on you to help us determine what technologies we should use to build this new backend. Specific languages, databases, or other software have not been settled on so this is a great opportunity to set a totally new foundation for our application.

  • Help evolve and maintain our application infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team, as well as the analytics & data science team, to spec, build, test, and deploy new features and functionality
  • Mentor and guide teammates, empowering them to make good design decisions
  • Author and maintain business-critical infrastructure-as-code

What will help you succeed:

Must-haves:

  • 3+ years (5-8 preferred) of experience in a startup environment as a Site Reliability, DevOps, or Systems Engineer supporting high-availability, large-scale web-based applications
  • Experience with Cloudformation or similar (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Experience managing and maintaining a resilient, fault-tolerant services-based cloud infrastructure (ideally on AWS)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for product managers, analysts, and/or other engineers
  • Mentorship/coaching skills; demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback in code and design reviews
  • Ability to scope, prioritize, and deliver on project commitments
  • Love of mentoring & modeling behaviors for writing tests, code review, design documentation, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Insatiable curiosity about how things work

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working with data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Ruby and Rails
  • Experience with AWS Lambda
