DrChrono Engineering plays a critical role delivering innovative products from inception to mass adoption.  You’ll be able to use your expertise and creative talents to build things while working closely with product, design, and other departments.  

Our Engineering Organization is currently hiring 7 Software Engineers to join our organization across the following teams:  

Provider Team: Electronic Health Records are at the center of what every provider does on a daily basis and includes items like clinical notes, prescriptions, and labs. Help write the code that medical providers use at the point of care.  Innovative patient care anytime and anywhere on your iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch. Experience a mobile EHR that is sleeker, faster and more convenient than a laptop. 

Patient Team: You will work on the newest feature of our product that allows patients and providers to communicate remotely.  You will also develop the code that allows patients to view their own information from the practices that they patronize.  Here you will work on all of the technologies that connect those who need care to those that can provide it. 

Payments Team: You will write the code that allows providers to be paid! All of our practices rely on the ability to use the software in order to get paid and thus this is a primary component of our product. 

Practice Team: Providers cannot effectively help their patients if their practices are not managed correctly. We fix this. In this area you will develop features that help the medical practice schedule appointments and communicate with the patients as well as manage their internal workflows

Platform Team: Underlying all of the components of the product is the platform itself.  Here you’ll be working with cloud providers, system configuration, security, architecture and middleware components that keep our product up and running.

  • Platform:
  • Develop the software infrastructure that enables our top level product functions
  • Optimize Django ORM/SQL queries
  • Be a liaison between the DevOps team and the software development and architecture teams
  • Work across all development workstreams

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of professional experience writing production backend code in Python (Django experience is a bonus!)
  • Experience building products for fast growing web or mobile products with a passion for working with small nimble teams and a bias for action
  • Experience doing some front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and modern Javascript using AngularJS and writing apps backed by relational databases (e.g. MySQL or PostgreSQL)
  • Strong CS fundamentals from a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Passion or experience for emerging health technologies, EHRs, EMRs, or telehealth
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You work well with others while leading individual projects to completion in a distributed environment. You take ownership in your work. Ability to manage conflicting project demands and thrive in a small start-up environment
  • Passion for Scalability: You work as part of a team and care about building scalable and maintainable systems

Our teams worked together both virtually and onsite while we'd schedule Holiday Parties and Quarterly Events designed to bring our teams together. Responsibilities

  • The DevOps engineer is responsible for laying the framework and foundation for DevOps and for helping our engineering teams scale and make their processes more efficient

  • Experience with source control, git or equivalent
  • Experience in AWS at scale leveraging core services such as Lambda, RDS, and EC2, EKS, ECS, ElasticSearch
  • Experience writing applications and tools in Python
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker) & Kubernetes
  • Experience with Build and Deployment tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent
  • Experience with operational tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Sumo Logic, or AWS CloudWatch
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD, logging, and monitoring

About the role:

You'll become a member of a 5 FTE DevSecOps team, and will be expected to contribute and learn across the full cloud engineering stack. You will be (or will become) a "T-shaped" individual with enormous potential to further your career in the burgeoning DevSecOps domain, with the guidance of industry leaders in Security and DevOps, and alongside a mature team of true polyglots and talented microservices developers.

Note: While this role is remote, we are only considering candidates in a +/- 5 range of GMT.

Requirements

  • Code (or script) in at least one modern application development or utility language
  • Use Source Code Management and Document Management Systems to organize business function tasks and publish relevant material
  • Be a competent Linux user
  • Know how to build, run and deploy secure Docker containers
  • Be aware of how containers and microservices are configured, and can be secured and orchestrated, in particular using Kubernetes

  • More than 4 years experience building and developing backend applications
  • Strong depth of knowledge in the following technologies: Java, Python or GoLang or other programming languages.
  • Experience developing and operating web applications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar public cloud providers.
  • Ability to design public APIs, coupled with a passion for writing clean code.
  • Experience building service from the ground up is preferred – from gathering requirements, design, build, deploy, and ownership.

We are searching for Enterprise Cloud Migrations Managers that will be at the forefront of helping our enterprise customers learn about migration options and optimally plan and execute on migrating their Atlassian software instance from their On-Premise environment to the Atlassian Cloud.
The Enterprise CMMs wear many hats and are committed to helping large customers migrate with ease. They help coordinate internal and external partners, work as consultants with customers from technical admins to executives, facilitate building strong project plans and drive customer accountability.
In addition, they’ll also serve as the voice of the customer internally and issues/drive insights that will craft product strategy and improve our customer success processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and qualify inbound customers are "migration ready" based on their license profile and shared information;
  • Conduct discovery during the customer migration process to assess and understand their use case, migration needs and any potential roadblocks to migrating;
  • Advise customers on how to plan/prepare for migrations from On-Premise to Cloud;
  • Ensure customers partner with Technical Support for troubleshooting and to assist with the data migrations;
  • Liaise with multiple cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Customer Success Managers, Enterprise Advocates and Loyalty Advocates, Technical Support, Customer Programs, and Product;
  • Communicate customer trends and feedback to internal teams to drive improvements to documentation, tooling, product and process; and platform;
  • Develop strategic recommendations for how to improve the migration experience for our customers.

On the first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • 11+ years experience in a strategic customer-facing role within either customer support, customer success, a migrations-specific department, or other meaningful function.
  • Project management experience strong communication skills as well as a natural propensity for public speaking and experience with leading C-level conversations.
  • Ability to ask compelling/ leading questions, uncover common customer themes, and lead technical planning and project planning;
  • Ability to build presentations, write content, and present to large audiences.
  • Experience navigating a SaaS working environment with DevOps or IT teams and optimally completing large projects.
  • Broad experience working with Enterprise level customers, comfort in navigating a large organisation and confirmed past involvement in building strong cross-functional relationships internally.
  • Empathy for customer anxiety and experience in helping customers deal with change management within their organisation;
  • Proven strategic account management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise quickly and optimize process and tools to reduce inefficiencies and scale the program.
  • Experience in advancing potential customer challenges before they become full-blown issues and ability to partner with other teams to resolve and communicate needed information back to the customer.
It’s phenomenal, but not required if you have:
- Atlassian product knowledge or experience in building and supporting migrations related projects in the past.

Our Backend Engineers work in cross-functional squads on a variety of technical challenges. We solve challenges including distributed compute grids, workflow engines, systems integrations, SDKs, and web applications that let our customers harness Machine Learning to drive their business processes.

Kraken is seeking a cyber security engineer to join our Blue Team. The team operates to detect, investigate and respond to security events and attacks against the Kraken digital asset exchange. This position reports to the Blue Team manager and is a member of the global security team working to secure one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. As a Blue Team Engineer you will design, deploy and maintain security tooling and infrastructure for the team using cutting-edge technologies as well as develop new detections that keeps us at pace with the latest threats and attacker techniques.

Duties

  • Active participant in the 24/7 Blue Team operation.
  • Take ownership of the team's infrastructure making sure it is up to date and operating as expected.
  • Be involved in the evaluation and design of new tools.
  • On-board security log data and tune the SIEM platform.
  • Extend functionality of tools by deploying API integrations and automation tasks.
  • Develop detection strategies and deploy alerting to identify malicious activity.
  • Assist with the team's main responsibilities by contributing during triage and incident response.
  • Participate in and lead training activities, working groups and knowledge sharing with other members in the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an engineer working with cyber security related infrastructure and tooling.
  • Experience implementing and/or operating a SIEM.
  • Background in engineering disciplines such as, DevOps, cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, API integrations.
  • Experience with scripting languages, data processing and task automation.
  • Understanding of the cyber threat landscape and adversary tactics is an advantage.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.

About the Role:

The software engineering team builds the ecommerce platform and internal tooling that support our mission to eliminate food waste and build a kinder food system. Engineers don’t just build widgets -- we participate in the full lifecycle of a feature, from conception to release. We have heaps of interesting problems to solve around customer experience, logistics, supply chain and scale. We’re looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to support the overall engineering team as they help us take the work out of grocery shopping by building delightfully functional web and mobile experiences.

Our technology stack currently consists of React on the frontend and a mix of Node and F# in a microservices backend. We’re on a TypeScript migration journey for all JavaScript code. Data persistence is handled by PostgreSQL and Snowflake, messages by RabbitMQ. We believe in building expertise in a relatively small set of modern but mature tools. We’re a remote-first team with members throughout the US.

They help coordinate internal and external partners, work as consultants with customers from technical admins to executives, facilitate building strong project plans and drive customer accountability.

In addition, they’ll also serve as the voice of the customer internally and issues/drive insights that will craft product strategy and improve our customer success processes.

In this role you will:

  • Research and qualify inbound customers are "migration ready" based on their license profile and shared information;
  • Conduct discovery during the customer migration process to assess and understand their use case, migration needs and any potential roadblocks to migrating;
  • Advise customers on how to plan/prepare for migrations from On-Premise to Cloud;
  • Ensure customers partner with Technical Support for troubleshooting and to assist with the data migrations;
  • Liaise with multiple cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Customer Success Managers, Enterprise Advocates and Loyalty Advocates, Technical Support, Customer Programs, and Product;
  • Communicate customer trends and feedback to internal teams to drive improvements to documentation, tooling, product and process; and platform;
  • Develop strategic recommendations for how to improve the migration experience for our customers.

On the first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • Significant experience in a strategic customer-facing role within either customer support, customer success, a migrations-specific department, or other meaningful function;
  • Project management experience, strong communication skills, as well as a natural propensity for public speaking and experience with leading C-level conversations;
  • Ability to ask compelling/ leading questions, uncover common customer themes, and lead technical planning and project planning;
  • Ability to build presentations, write content, and present to large audiences;
  • Experience navigating a SaaS working environment with DevOps or IT teams and optimally completing large projects;
  • Broad experience working with Enterprise level customers, comfort in navigating a large organisation and confirmed past involvement in building strong cross-functional relationships internally;
  • Empathy for customer anxiety and experience in helping customers deal with change management within their organisation;
  • Proven strategic account management skills;

Job Description
As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for leading and running the Delivery Enablement squad, which is critical to the success of the engineering department.

Hyperscience is comprised of a large and growing engineering workforce. At this scale, we must solve problems through automation and effective operations. You will own the CI/CD infrastructure that’s a central part of our day-to-day life. Your team will continuously improve and make our SDLC a more reliable process through smart tooling. You will help manage and execute medium to long-term roadmap initiatives. You will be working with Product to iteratively improve our application deployment experience, which keen interest in supportability and user experience. You will be tasked with leading programs with cross-team and cross-company impact, where you will need to exhibit outstanding planning, coordination, and execution skills.

You will also be responsible for the development and growth of the Delivery Enablement squad members. You will serve as a strong mentor for your team. You will also partner with them to guide their career development and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and grow the existing team
  • Lead improvements across all capabilities of the Delivery Enablement area
  • Design and build effective, user-friendly infrastructure, tooling, and automation to accelerate operations at Hyperscience
  • Collaborate with teams to drive the technical roadmap
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to develop tools to support build, test, bundle, and deployment operations
  • Offer support and troubleshooting assistance for the engineering pipelines, while continuously improving stability along the way
  • Build and maintain systems employing an Infrastructure-as-Code approach
  • Own the CI/CD stack which comprises all pipeline and automation resources
  • Establish standards and practices around operations, including governance, compliance, and data security
  • Collaborate on managing infrastructure costs

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience with DevOps
  • Experience working with DevOps engineers to build tooling and automation to support the entire software development lifecycle, from local testing to production operations
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code technologies, such a Terraform
  • Experience building and utilizing configuration management tools, such as Ansible
  • Strong experience with CICD tech stack, standards, practices, and processes, including tooling and automation strategy and implementation to improve developer effectiveness
  • Solid experience and demonstrable knowledge of source code management frameworks, processes, workflows, tools and best practices, 5+ years day-to-day working experience with Git will be expected
  • Adequate knowledge of build systems, including but not limited to Make, Maven, Gradle, Sbt, Bazel, Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS infrastructure, including strong architecture, infrastructure automation, and operational experience
  • Deep understanding of Linux OS, particularly Ubuntu and RedHat
  • Experience with Docker and other software packaging solutions  
  • Scripting experience with Bash and Python 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previously been a manager for a small (2-4) engineering team

The Opportunity

At Contrast, we make application security smart and simple for software teams. But simple is not easy, and the struggle is real.

We are looking for a senior level product designer to help us bring a clear, actionable story about security risk to our customers. You are comfortable creating prototypes or concepts to review with users, working with complex data, and have an interest in data visualization. You have built or maintained design systems and know why they matter so much. While we don’t expect you to lead user research or usability testing, you are happy to lend a hand.

In this role, you will largely cover two application security products: one that monitors open-source libraries and new product that strengthens our platform. You may be assigned to support other product needs, as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with UX designers and engineers to create concepts and evolve them into workflows, wireframes, and final mockups or visual assets. Help define and clarify user stories.
  • Seek internal and external design reviews with your user experience colleagues, product teams, and customers to refine your thinking. Partner where you can.
  • Improve and maintain our design system alongside other product designers and front-end engineers. Fight visual and interactive inconsistency across our products.
  • Participate in user research or usability testing efforts to understand problems or surface opportunities for intended audiences. Inform your design choices with this deeper understanding.
  • Always collaborate. You know how to work well with UX designers, Agile development teams, and product managers.
  • Bring leadership: propose solutions and reach out to make them happen.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of product design experience that includes enterprise products. Brand or consumer product design alone is not sufficient.
  • Strong storytelling skills. You can present the user’s point-of-view to teams and stakeholders through your design choices and encourage empathy.
  • Expertise with design tools to visualize your work, such as Figma or Sketch.
  • Sketching or drawing ability to quickly communicate ideas.
  • Attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills
