About the Role:

The Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack Python / React at StyleSeat is responsible for providing technical leadership to the engineering team and steering key decisions. You will build end-to-end features as well as modernize our application written in Python and ReactJS into a more forward thinking approach by using technologies such as Django, Cordova, Flask, Webpack, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

You will also engage in system design, technology evaluation, prototyping, implementation of key components, DevOps, and training of team members as we move to a more modular, microservice-based architecture. You’ll be self-directed, a critical thinker and an excellent communicator. While not necessarily a backend or frontend specialist, you should be comfortable working across the entire stack and able to dive in to remove roadblocks wherever necessary.

What you'll do:

  • Write well defined, tested, and readable code
  • Develop new features in Python, and ReactJS
  • Working with, upgrading and maintaining frameworks, including Django, Flask, Angular, and Celery
  • Design and build core parts of the platform to deliver robust backend services
  • Lead and assist efforts to migrate to a modular, microservices-based future
  • Design and implement interfaces and infrastructure for a large-volume services and APIs
  • Conduct code reviews and audits
  • Help establish our technical philosophy and engineering culture

What you can bring to the table:

You love to learn so you don't need to know everything day one, but some relevant background will help you get going quickly:

  • 7+ years of experience in a production environment
  • Experience with modern front-end Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS
  • Proven understanding of HTML5, CSS & SASS
  • Strong server-side Python coding experience
  • Strong RDBMS experience
  • Expertise to offer for complex challenges: system architecture, scaling tactics, tool choices, etc.
  • Experience working at "web scale" providing and evolving always-available services to unbounded user communities including experience scaling software as part of a high-growth company
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Docker

We are searching for Enterprise Cloud Migrations Managers (CMMs) that will be at the forefront of helping our enterprise customers learn about migration options and optimally plan and execute on migrating their Atlassian software instance from their On-Premise environment to the Atlassian Cloud.

The Enterprise CMMs wear many hats and are committed to helping large customers migrate with ease. They help coordinate internal and external partners, work as consultants with customers from technical admins to executives, facilitate building strong project plans and drive customer accountability.

In addition, they’ll also serve as the voice of the customer internally and issues/drive insights that will craft product strategy and improve our customer success processes.

Common activities that a Cloud Migrations Manager will conduct:

  • Research and qualify inbound customers are "migration ready" based on their license profile and shared information
  • Conduct discovery during the customer migration process to assess and understand their use case, migration needs and any potential roadblocks to migrating
  • Advise customers on how to plan/prepare for migrations from On-Premise to Cloud
  • Ensure customers partner with Technical Support for troubleshooting and to assist with the data migrations
  • Liaise with multiple cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Customer Success Managers, Enterprise Advocates and Loyalty Advocates, Technical Support, Customer Programs, and Product
  • Communicate customer trends and feedback to internal teams to drive improvements to documentation, tooling, product and process; and platform
  • Develop strategic recommendations for how to improve the migration experience for our customers

On the first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years experience in a strategic customer-facing role within either customer support, customer success, a migrations-specific department, or other meaningful function
  • Project management experience strong communication skills as well as a natural propensity for public speaking and experience with leading C-level conversations
  • Ability to ask compelling/ leading questions, uncover common customer themes, and lead technical planning and project planning
  • Ability to build presentations, write content, and present to large audiences
  • Experience navigating a SaaS working environment with DevOps or IT teams and optimally completing large projects
  • Broad experience working with Enterprise level customers, comfort in navigating a large organization and confirmed past involvement in building strong cross-functional relationships internally
  • Empathy for customer anxiety and experience in helping customers deal with change management within their organization
  • Proven strategic account management skills
  • Ability to prioritize quickly and optimize process and tools to reduce inefficiencies and scale the program
  • Experience in advancing potential customer challenges before they become full-blown issues and ability to partner with other teams to resolve and communicate needed information back to the customer

It’s great, but not required if you have:

  • Atlassian product knowledge or experience in building and supporting migrations related projects in the past
  • Technical ability to navigate and solution for complex discussions on various deployment/migration options across self-hosted, cloud, and hybrid deployment options

This Customer Success Team Manager role will build and evolve our CS program to support Enterprise Cloud customers. As a Team Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Contributing to strategy and operational management of the Customer Success teams
  • Process and workflow development, including but not limited to customer research and discovery, engagement SOPs, reporting, and customer concerns

Sonatype is growing, and we’re looking to bring a Regional Sales Executive into the sales team. This is an individual contributor role whose primary responsibility will be to uncover new sales opportunities & sell Sonatype Nexus software products & services to customers and prospects.

The Opportunity

  • Develop and close sales opportunities for Sonatype’s Nexus Repository, Nexus Firewall, Nexus Lifecycle and Nexus Auditor products
  • Effectively communicate Sonatype’s value proposition in order to increase sales and expand existing customer footprints

The Role:

What you'll do:

You are:

 About the Role:

Imperfect is looking for an Engineering Manager - Test to lead a team of highly talented engineers responsible for quality, test automation, and release. You will collaborate with product owners, engineering managers, engineers and program managers to ensure timely delivery of features with the highest quality.  Candidates must have deep technical experience with all aspects of test automation. 

Initially, candidates will be required to actually write test code themselves as well as manage our existing team and work to grow the QA team. Your role

  • As a Software Engineer (mainly PHP and Golang) you are reporting directly to our Head of Product.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for someone who has at a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Director, Team Lead, or the equivalent who has both directly managed engineers, worked closely with product stakeholders and has successfully managed projects, deliverables, and timelines while keeping their hands dirty writing code into production as a full-stack engineer. you will have a minimum of 10+ years experience shipping high quality, web-based applications and pushing production code for every level of the stack. You are very comfortable with an API-first environment and deploying features regularly through CI/CD pipelines.

You have 5+ years of experience working in PHP, Laravel, MYSQL, and REST APIs; you have experience with DevOps and at least 5+ years developing and deploying consumer or enterprise applications at scale. Additionally, it is preferable, but not required, that you have experience working with software that manages physical goods. At a minimum, you must have deep interest in and knowledge of the eCommerce landscape.

About the Database Reliability Engineering Team Cognite’s Cognite Data Fusion contextualizes operational data at scale, enabling asset-intensive industries to make data-driven decisions. Our platform is built on many different technologies, each good at solving different problems. Some of these are absolutely fundamental, and the Database Reliability Engineering team will be responsible for the continuous well-being of our portfolio of FoundationDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and Kafka clusters, some of which we expect to have thousands of in the years to come – in both public and private clouds, through managed services and on self-managed Kubernetes clusters. Even when using mature as-a-Service offerings and Kubernetes operators, there are many things that can and will go wrong. About our Tech stack:

We work with open source technologies that need to run in multiple cloud environments – both public clouds (like Google Cloud Platform and Azure) and in private clouds with customer provided Kubernetes.

Managed Kubernetes (GKE, AKS, Openshift) forms the base that we build our products on top of. To prove the market we initially built on PaaS offerings to store state, such as Google Bigtable, Spanner and Pubsub. We replicate data to different storage systems to be able to answer different types of queries. As we diversify the platforms our offering runs on, we are migrating to a self-run Foundation DB based scale-out data store for managing time series data. PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch are also important examples.

Our backend developer teams work with Java, Scala, Python, and Rust. CI/CD is handled by a combination of Github, Jenkins, and Spinnaker to test and deploy code to production. The infrastructure is managed as code with Terraform and Atlantis and services are monitored using Prometheus, Grafana and Lightstep.

As we are establishing a team in Database Reliability Engineering we are looking to hire two people to work on FoundationDB. We are looking for senior or principal engineers, who either know FoundationDB, or have experience with other high performance distributed databases and an interest and willingness to dive deep and learn.

The FoundationDB Kubernetes Operator is written in Golang, and FoundationDB itself is written in Flow, an Actor system that preprocesses C++ code.

About the job to be done:

  • Join Cognite’s DBRE team as a FoundationDB sub-team, owning the full cluster lifecycle of all of our FoundationDB clusters.
  • Work with both public clouds and on private Kubernetes deployments.
  • Establish robust reliability engineering to support these clusters, managing aspects like monitoring, chaos testing, alerting, on-call rotations, internal best-practices education, and capacity forecasting.
  • Enable product teams to focus on using the databases, and not on running them – but deeply engage them to make sure the products are operable at scale.
