We are seeking an HR Generalist- Payroll to join our team! You will be at the intersection of finance and HR, supporting People team initiatives while owning payroll related programs.
-You will work internally with accounting and finance on HSA/ FSA administration, along with maintaining all vendor relations.
-Review, analyze, audit and precisely process Human Resources data within HRIS, timekeeping, and payroll systems.
-Review invoices, liaison for managed benefits, participate in the renewal process and open enrollment.
-You will be responsible for 401k administration, auditing vacation/sick leave. Help drive performance management and compensation practices so that our employees are accurately leveled and fairly compensated.
-Drive progressive thinking on what rewards programs should look like outside of traditional/ tired compensation practices.
-Help drive the implementation and adoption of people-oriented programs to positively impact the culture and environment; around development and training, recognition and employee engagement.
-Ensure legal compliance of HR federal and state regulations and applicable employment laws; update policies and procedures as regularly.
-Define metrics for people programs and continually track; analyze to make improvements. Your insights will drive how we pivot our programs so that we maintain a healthy retention of our employees.
-You will drive making sure we are at the forefront of compliance by researching and implementing the best solutions. This will make sure our employees can be heads down on their work and not have their time wrapped up with any compliance gafs.
Key Qualifications include:
-Proven experience as an HR Generalist with at least 2+ years experience with payroll
-Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Experience running payroll, doing 401(k) reconciliation, managing commission payouts, and helping with onboarding and offboarding
-Excellent communication and people skills
-Willing to address difficult situations head on with patience and respect.
-Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
-Able to manage workflow, with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced environment with multiple, and sometimes changing priorities.
-Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; Google Suite; HRIS systems will be a plus.
