We're looking for an experienced sales leader to run our European team of Strategic Account Managers. This team drives the sales cycle showcasing compelling solution strategies for (Top % of Enterprise customers) to support business transformation, oftentimes with c-level executive sponsors to identify Atlassian solutions that best align with their organisational outcomes. The team drives new and expansion Enterprise sales transactions through value selling techniques, big cloud opportunities, and selling business transformation across a portfolio of products. Your European team is based out of EMEA in our key locations (Netherlands, Germany, France, UK). You are accountable to the Sales team performance, direction setting, management, and development of the team.
You will be responsible to work cross-functionally with Channel leadership on channel strategy and influencing deals; collaborate closely with Atlassian solution engineers and solution architects as well as other internal field resources/executives; and share customer insights to help inform Product and GTM enterprise strategies including the Marketing value proposition, key market positioning, competitive strategy, ROI, and value analysis.

More about you:
- 5 or more years of sales management experience in a business-to-business software sales environment
- Extensive experience developing go-to-market strategies and corporate sales plans
- Successful experience working with a channel sales organisation
- Consistent track record closing complex six-figure transactions
- Experience leading key customer relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities
- Experience in developing a team for results
- Extensive experience utilising a CRM to manage team performance metrics
- Experience hiring and on-boarding account managers
- Extensive experience building and running territories in the European market
- Shown experience working within both startup and mature corporate environments
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
- Confirmed ability to make a positive impact outside of individual role
