As part of the IT & Security Team, the Endpoint Security Manager leads the team that administers the global endpoint platforms and devices. Responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of endpoint configurations including desktop/laptop devices, virtual desktops, and mobile devices. This is a technical leadership role, with and emphasis on setting and guiding the endpoint security strategy for the organization, as well as managing day-to-day MDM operations, assisting with endpoint management escalations. The role will also be involved in planning and implementing innovative MDM solutions to the existing environment.

Required Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Mac and Linux endpoint hardware & operating systems
  • 5+ years of experience in large scale endpoint security technology platform engineering, design, architecture or strategy (experience in developing security strategy highly desired / preferred)
  • 5+ years of security technology experience at a senior level
  • Endpoint & application management, software delivery, updates, patching
  • Extensive knowledge of endpoint hardware & software security
  • Deep experience with endpoint management platforms 
  • Enterprise Architecture governance and process 
  • Experience with platform attack and defense techniques preferred
  • Experience with network & remote access security technology engineering, design, architecture or strategy preferred
  • Ability to undertake and complete tasks independently, meet schedules and delivery timelines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible MDM administration and management to include end user/device enrollments and deletions, ensuring mobile implementations are in line with privacy, legal, security policies, and Corporate standards, testing and evaluation of mobile devices against Enterprise MDM Systems
  • Work closely with the Business with mobile device requirements, engineering appropriate solutions, performing piloting, implementations, and providing post release support
  • Work on projects pertaining to applications and/or products impacting desktop, laptop, and mobile device configurations. Responsible for mobile device configurations via MDM
  • Mobile device testing, end user troubleshooting, and providing 3rd level technical support to various IT and Business Teams
  • Develop and create documentation that includes conceptual descriptions, task-based procedures, configurations, installations, and reference information
  • Using company ticketing software to record, track and document problem solving process.
  • Assist in training of Endpoint Management staff
  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents
  • Provides technical expertise in the analysis and resolution of complex problems and takes appropriate action to ensure maintenance of stated performance objectives to maximize system availability and minimize response time
  • Provides appropriate documentation/reports to management
