The Services Project Manager is expected to have a broad level of technical knowledge of payments technologies, platforms and principles, integration workflows, and technical project execution. They will make well-thought-out decisions on moderate engineering issues, clearly understand Spreedly’s technical infrastructure, and will assist in driving the discovery, scoping, design, and execution of complex payments integration builds, modifications, and/or upgrades. They will propagate common goals, direction, and standards established by Implementation & Professional Services Leadership, as well as monitor Professional Services, Customer Engineering, and Gateway Self Service project schedules and timelines.
The Services Project Manager manages projects from requirements gathering to post-implementation. They proactively and methodically improve quality and efficiency through automation of services and provide visibility through reporting to a variety of stakeholders. They serve as a primary point of customer or partner contact during an engagement project delivery. They will also work closely with the Implementation Consulting & Project Management Manager, Professional Services Engineering Manager, and pre-contract technical resources for Professional Services opportunities and will have ownership of project execution and delivery for professional services engagements.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of project, product, business, or QA analyst experience having demonstrated strong customer-facing technical project management skills managing large technology projects, project portfolios, and working with large Enterprises on technology-driven engagements.
- 2+ years relevant experience defining, developing, and executing program-level Implementation and/or training strategies, operations, and action plans
- 1+ year leadership experience or equivalent training
- 1+ year working with, preferably managing, project execution with offshore development teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to think and plan strategically, along with ‘roll up your sleeves’ drive to execute tactically.
- Expert level of organization and attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to bring multiple cross-functional areas together to deliver service for customers.
- Strong technical knowledge and fundamental understanding of API’s.
- Experience managing a portfolio of programs, products, or service offerings.
- Natural leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.

- Expert level of organization and attention to detail as well as strong interpersonal communication skills.

- Analytical, consultative approach to understanding complex business problems and delivering solutions to solve those problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand and translate complex technical detail across all project stakeholders with clarity.
- Strong customer service skills and commitment to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to keep the project team(s) on task to deliver high-quality service and accomplish key project milestones and deliverables.
- Participate in prospect and customer calls and travel to customer sites for face-to-face meetings as required for qualified professional services project opportunities with the purpose of understanding customer business/technical objectives and product requirements
- Capable of supporting the Implementation Consulting & Project Management Manager and Professional Services Engineering Manager with project scope development, delivery estimates, integration assessments, and support of Spreedly related Professional Services projects.
