Payroll Analyst, North America

Dataiku’s People Operations Team is looking for a driven Payroll analyst with experience working in a fast-paced, target driven environment.  In this role, you will be responsible for payroll functions for the US with multi-state payroll, Canada and Brazil. 

In this role, you will:

  • Process a semi-monthly payroll for 350+ US and Canada employees 
  • Validate pre and post payroll results
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Bonus and Commission files
  • Prepare the semi-monthly GL file 
  • Prepare the semi-monthly FSA and H.S.A. file for processing
  • Support annual internal and external payroll audits
  • Support Worker’s Comp and 401k plan audits
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Work closely with cross functional teams with the People, Total Rewards and Finance team 

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience processing payroll in the US and Canada with at least 10 multi state payrolls
  • A strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and requirements
  • The ability to work well independently and as a team member in a time sensitive environment
  • Advanced Excel and Google sheets skills (required)
  • Experience with Workday Payroll and ADP Smart Compliance strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to work towards deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • CPP certification preferred but not required
