The Senior Content Product Manager will have an opportunity to make a foundational impact on the product experience by shaping the various ways that our content is discovered and consumed.

Our goal is to connect users to the most compelling content from our vast and growing library. (We have over 100 million user-generated documents alone!) To do this at scale and for an international user base is a big challenge.

You Will:

  • Define the success metrics by partnering with other cross-functional leaders
  • Prioritize opportunities where data can be leveraged to drive business outcomes  
  • Collaborate with engineering, applied research, data science and product to strategize, execute and assess impact
  • Inspire and influence the team by describing and then reinforcing the product strategy and goals, then developing a consolidated product roadmap for Content data-related areas
  • Communicate progress and strategic evolution through regular presentations to senior executives and partners
  • Facilitate understanding of our vast and growing content library of documents, books, audiobooks, magazines, slides, sheet music and podcasts.
  • Inspire and influence the broader team by highlighting contributions to growth and consumption goals
  • Understand the desired user experiences and create strategies for how data will bring those experiences to life
  • Identify and prioritize data requirements - deciding how and what data is required and making tradeoffs to achieve short and long term business impact
  • Be a partner and thought-leader for managing our current and future content corpus
  • Help shape the experience of cross-content discovery
  • Use data to develop priorities and assess results while also demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and wants
  • Connect users to the most compelling content from our vast and growing library. (We have over 100 million user-generated documents alone!)

You Have:

  • 4+ years of product management or system development experience
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including engineers, data scientists, product managers and executives.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex, technical subjects to stakeholders of varying levels of technical expertise
  • A person who is naturally a self-starter, can drive an initiative through execution and enjoys working across multiple teams
  • Experience developing roadmaps and long-term data-driven strategies for improving customer experience and internal workflows
  • Strategic platform and system thinker who can balance big picture strategy with detailed, flawless execution

Atlassian is seeking an experienced, strategic, and innovative Principal Data Architect to lead in the expansion of the company’s use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives. This individual will act as a trusted technical partner to the Data Engineering leadership team.

In this role as a Principal Data Architect, you will be working with the Corporate Data Engineering (DE), Go to Market (DE), and Data platform teams to provide strategic guidance as to how teams should approach the design and implementation of reliable, performant and scalable data solutions. You will be relied up on to research and recommend integration and analytical products and architectural patterns as well as possessing the ability to provide implementation guidance. Great communication and collaboration is crucial to this role as you will be partnering with teams across IT, R&D and various business units and should be able to articulate the current and end-state architectures to the various stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the IT data strategy and data architecture (which includes Enterprise IT information architecture, as well as applications / tools / platforms that are related to data architect) in order to meet the business' information needs
  • Gain an understanding of the current data architecture, sources and tooling and then, with the data data platform team, define the target data architecture strategy that builds on business objectives
  • Partner with other architects to influence data strategy at Enterprise level
  • Push the organization become more data driven and drive forward towards innovations in the data space; actively learn from the broader industry and brings insights back to the organization
  • Foster a culture of collaboration with the disparate data teams throughout the organization
  • Introduce standard methodologies and principles around data governance to enable consistent delivery and enable alignment with strategic direction
  • Partner with compliance teams to ensure DE is meeting data governance requirements (privacy, security, data retention, etc)

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 10 + years demonstrated ability as an Data Architect for a technology organization
  • Combined 15+ years of experience in several of the following areas: software design and development; architecting of modern heavily utilized, highly available data applications
  • Proficiency in defining current and future state data architecture models
  • In depth knowledge of cloud data platforms (eg Amazon AWS, DataBricks)
  • Expertise in designing and building SQL, no-SQL, big data, GraphDB, APIs and streaming solutions
  • Deep experience in software engineering practices – design principles and patterns, unit testing, performance engineering, best practices for security and privacy
  • Experience with Neural Networks, machine learning, deep learning and NLP tools and frameworks
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

The Machine Learning Platform organization’s mission is to maximize the business impact of machine learning practitioners at Netflix.  We do this through building an ML Platform that helps scale and enable all stages of the ML lifecycle, including ad-hoc exploration and experimentation, preparing training data, model development, and robust production deployment.  The Model Development team within the Machine Learning Platform organization is focused on enabling innovation in offline experimentation for the large diversity of ML use cases within Netflix.

The Opportunity:
In this role you will help define and execute the strategy and vision for enabling standard and novel experimentation practices at Netflix, including model training, ensembling and pipeline componentization, hyperparameter optimization, feature selection and engineering, model reuse, model evaluation/validation, performance profiling and optimization.  You will build systems, infrastructure and libraries to provide a robust and transparent platform for experimentation at scale, aiming to consistently deliver “member joy” to our platform customers.  You will work within the larger Machine Learning Platform org and the applied ML research community at Netflix to set the forward looking direction for nascent platform areas of investment like AutoML and ML Performance.

To be successful, you will need a deep understanding of software engineering and ML, with a particular eye for designing ergonomic, fluent and flexible systems for ML practitioners.  You will need the ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively with other engineers and scientists, and to translate research needs and opportunities into scalable, easy to use solutions. A thoughtful and practical approach to building infrastructure, the ability to empathize and understand the needs of our customers, and rely on your applied machine learning experience to provide polished experiences to end users.

Work on this team spans critical functional integrations with the compute and data stack, in addition to high level machine learning tooling and libraries used to directly accelerate and automate common ML workflows for the diversity of ML use cases at Netflix.

You will have an opportunity to accelerate innovation in one of the premier machine learning powered companies in the world today, that is redefining how video content is consumed globally.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong bias towards action, great curiosity, and excellent communication skills
  • Experience designing end-user software with good API design sensibilities
  • Exposure to working with high-scale distributed systems

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field

Job Description
Hyperscience is hiring a Product Designer who will join one or more squads building new capabilities into the Hyperscience platform. This Designer will apply user centered design methods, lean product principles, work closely with a team of Engineers and PMs, and learn a lot of new skills along the way! 

Designers in this role will be immersed in a host of emerging technologies that come with complex design challenges. They will collaborate with machine learning engineers, design human-in-the-loop interactions, and work with users and stakeholders at large enterprises that make up the Hyperscience customer base. Candidates will learn these concepts on the job and need not be experts in machine learning or automation to apply.

Hyperscience Designers work end-to-end in the product lifecycle. Depending on the needs of your product squads, Designers perform research to discover user pains and needs, prototype and test solutions, and design visual artifacts to communicate those solutions to Engineers. Candidates should have some proficiency in design research as well as UX and UI design in complex web applications, and there is ample opportunity to grow on the job!

Responsibilities

  • Surface lean solutions in a complex technical landscape.
  • Lead many varieties of research in order to understand user and stakeholders needs.
  • Leverage evidence to inform and shape the user experience, to connect teammates with user needs, and to design solutions that  will address user and business needs.
  • Design workflows and other solutions that solve user problems and enable them to accomplish tasks in Hyperscience effectively.
  • Build prototypes, run tests, and iterate with users in order to reduce risk and ship products that solve real problems.
  • Maintain a vocabulary of effective user interface patterns and practices for enterprise software.

  • Maintain sufficient expertise in the technical underpinnings of Hyperscience to collaborate with a team of PMs and Engineers.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in Product Design for enterprise-grade web applications or services

  • A portfolio demonstrating Product Design experience
  • Expertise in interaction design and defining user flows

About the role:

In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in achieving our client’s campaign objectives. Our Backend Engineers work in cross-functional squads on a variety of technical challenges. We solve challenges including distributed compute grids, workflow engines, systems integrations, SDKs, and web applications that let our customers harness Machine Learning to drive their business processes.

  • Provide leadership to guide the team to develop and implement exceptional entity resolution/record linkage/deduplication and entity extraction systems, from prototyping to production

The Platform team is the driving force behind the next phase of the company’s journey: expanding from a single-use product into a modular platform for automating a broad array of business processes. 

As a PM on the Platform team, you will focus on the architecture of this new platform. The Compliance Systems team works at the intersection of Data Science, Product and Compliance. The Systems team is looking for a Data Scientist with a background in statistics, machine learning and/or natural language processing to help us build and maintain models to describe and predict anomalous customer activity on Kraken’s platform. The role will involve maintaining the transaction monitoring rules codebase, ensuring that requirements for model validation are met, and building a number of new models to enhance existing controls. There is significant scope for innovation in this role, and we are looking for someone who thrives in an environment of ‘freedom with responsibility’. The ideal candidate would have some familiarity with the control systems used to comply with regulatory requirements under BSA/AML or AMLD 4+, but this is not required. A great candidate will be someone who has experience solving customer and behaviour profiling problems in an evolving data environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Compliance operations, Product, Engineering and other stakeholders to build descriptive and predictive models to identify anomalous activity.
  • Maintain the existing transaction monitoring rules codebase.
  • Ensure that all activities meet model validation requirements.
  • Design and build proof-of-concept models to test hypotheses and help with idea generation and refinement.
  • Use structured and unstructured data to enrich transaction monitoring metadata.

Motosumo is an innovative Danish startup founded in 2014 and based in Copenhagen. We are a fit-tech company that delivers live streaming indoor bike classes; think Peloton, but for everyone. Our app, along with some cutting-edge machine learning, uses the sensors built into smartphones to provide a more fun, engaging fitness experience, no matter what bike you are using at home. Our live streaming solution is already on the market, and now, we are looking to ramp up development to make the experience even smoother and our classes even more engaging.

We are a small, close-knit team working in a fast-moving and ever-changing market. Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a senior full-stack developer to join the fold.

The job

Our current solution is built on a React Native app for iOS and Android, and a React.js web front-end with game components developed in Unity. Our backend is based on Python, Elixir, Redis, PostgreSQL, and deployed with Chef and Docker on AWS. 

Our tech department consists of nine developers (or at least it will after you have been hired), and is split between two four-person teams: the Live Experience team, and the Activation and Subscriptions team. You will be part of the Activation and Subscriptions team, together with our experienced and dedicated full-stack and front-end developers. The team is responsible for creating the smoothest experience possible for our users, whether it’s making it easy to sign up for a trial, joining the right class, or setting up the best environment for using our product at home with a stationary bike. 

Your job will be to help create a superlative user experience. That might involve  making the app faster and more responsive, developing a slick UI for the onboarding flow, coming up with clever solutions for sign-in across multiple applications, making it easy to subscribe to our application, implementing Kafka in our backend, or just keeping everything humming along while optimizing our build process. 

Apart from the other developers on your team, you will be working closely with our product owner and UX designer. But you will still have freedom to shape the new features that you’ll be implementing with the rest of the team. 

You will be part of a team that maintains both a React.js web app, a React Native app, and a very central component of our Python and postgreSQL-based backend. You need to take responsibility for all aspects of a project to ensure the user always gets a great, reliable, and consistent  experience with our product.    

Who you are

You are a senior full stack developer, and preferably you already know your way around React JS, React Native, Python, and AWS. But, being the developer you are, you won’t have  any problems getting to grips with new technologies, or any other skill you might need in order to do your job a little better. 

We understand you can’t be an expert at everything, but you will be part of a cross-functional team, so we’d be excited to hear about any hidden skill you might have that could help us build a better product. That could include having an eye for UI design work; a knack for designing a totally frictionless, yet secure, authentication system; or insights into creating great RESTful API’s.

You will be working with a lot of different profiles at Motosumo, and that’s ok because communication and teamwork is something you enjoy. You know that writing software is a team sport, so you feel it’s essential that your code is well tested and documented. Also, you might enjoy working for Motosumo so much that one day, you might be the one that has to figure out what that clever bit of code actually does.

What we do

We're looking for: 
Do you want to experience the thrilling, fast-paced adventure that is iOS app development? Ever wonder how Quizlet ships our iOS app to millions of learners worldwide? Have we got an opportunity for you! This summer, join us in the (virtual) room where it happens with an internship on the iOS team at Quizlet.

In this internship, you’ll:

  • Work alongside full time iOS engineers, designers, and product managers to add real features, bug fixes, and other changes to the Quizlet iOS app that will help Quizlet users learn more effectively
  • Be paired with mentors to guide you through the ins and outs of the Quizlet code base as well as real-world software development in general
  • Learn how to develop rigorous, high-quality code that is used by over 1 million users every day!
  • Gain a better understanding of the unique challenges of creating great products for the education space

At a minimum, we’d like you to have:

  • Strong interest in mobile development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a virtual environment
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Strong programming skills in Swift, Objective-C, Java, or any other object-oriented programming language

It’s preferred if you have:

  • Prior experience working on iOS apps (internships, personal projects, relevant coursework)
  • Fluency with Swift or Objective-C (you will mainly be working in Swift)
  • Interest in the education space

Education

The Quizlet Communications team is dedicated to sharing our company’s story and educating the world about how Quizlet helps people succeed in their learning journeys. 

We are looking for a dynamic, creative person who enjoys writing, creating content, researching trends and is comfortable bringing new ideas to the table. If you like keeping up with the news and have an affinity for storytelling, this could be a great internship experience for you.

In this internship, you'll:

  • Develop impactful and engaging content to be shared on our social media channels 
  • Be a valuable partner in uncovering human interest stories and cool data that enrich press articles and social media content
  • Learn how to track and report the value of media coverage and its impact on the business
  • Get first hand experience developing the stories that bring Quizlet to life for media and the public
  • Get comfortable researching trends across social media platforms and keep up with what our users (college students like you!) are interested in 
  • Have the opportunity to contribute to the Quizlet blog, sharing a student’s perspective 

At a minimum, we’d like you to have:

  • A learning focus related to communications, whether it's in public relations, creative writing/literature, broadcasting, digital content or similar
  • Experience with social media (even if it’s your own!) 
  • Solid writing experience, whether from school or extra curricular activities

It’s preferred if you have:

  • An interest in TikTok or other emerging social platforms 
  • Have experience writing for a personal or professional blog/outlet 
  • Have a passion for education and/or technology
