Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

Job description

Trello, part of Atlassian’s suite of collaboration tools, is the visual work management tool that powers over 1 million productive teams worldwide. Atlassian is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Trello team, with a focus on accelerating our go-to-market strategy in the enterprise space.

Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused marketer who is ready to own sales enablement, lead GTM campaigns, and be the voice of “Why Trello Enterprise” for our largest customers and prospects. Are you comfortable building a dedicated enablement program and being the market guide for Sales and Product teams? Do you enjoy working cross-functionally in an agile work environment? Then you’ll be an awesome fit for this PMM role.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Own the global enterprise enablement strategy across collateral creation and evergreen training; working closely with Sales teams to drive ales readiness and deal success
  • Own go-to-market launches and communications of new features via strategic collaboration with Product Management
  • Create and maintain collateral that spans the customer lifecycle across open deals (ex. pitch decks, battle cards, demos) as well as retention (ex. onboarding assets, help guides)
  • Inform our positioning (and our teams) with competitive and market intelligence
  • Uncover new opportunities to expand our reach through activating Atlassian’s partner and reseller networks
  • Measure program impact on metrics such as closed/won rates and accelerating sales cycles
  • Support the growth of Trello in a flexible capacity, ready to partner on feature launches and larger integrated marketing campaigns where needed

  • If you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, you should still consider applying. Studies show that meeting just 50% of a role’s requirements puts you in the running.

More about you:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing and/or supporting sales teams
  • B2B, SaaS, or enterprise experience preferred
  • Experience working with and training sales teams to communicate product value to buyers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Cross-functional aptitude working across teams ranging from Sales, Marketing, and Product on a shared vision and goals

When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

Job description

The Team Central marketing team combines the adrenaline rush of grassroots startup marketing with the reliable wisdom of a successful enterprise go-to-market engine. If you’re scrappy but practical; someone who asks forgiveness, not permission and the type of marketer who challenges the status quo, this is the role for you.

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketer to develop a playbook for community and partner enablement for Atlassian’s newest product. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and curating targeted content to enable our community of passionate users and Atlassian Partners with a goal of helping customer teams adopt healthier and more effective cross-functional communication practices, powered by Atlassian’s newest cloud product, Team Central. This is a unique opportunity to envision and experiment with fresh ways to promote a first-of-its-kind B2B communication product in order to define (and win!) a completely new market category.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead programs to grow our community and advocacy groups
  • Develop and execute an enablement program to incentivize Atlassian’s army of solution partners
  • Forge partnerships with future-of-work influencers and 3rd party partners to amplify our message and convert decision-makers from consideration to active customers
  • Build customer success stories across a variety of mediums (video, blogs, events, case studies, webinars, social media, etc.) and handle promotion
  • Gain insight into customer’s use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas
  • Envision, execute and continuously optimize educational content; how to get started, onboarding guides, etc;
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the benefits of our product and cross-functional communication best practices

More about you:

  • You have 3+ years of work experience with 1-3 years of marketing (product, community, or content) experience in B2B and/or B2C software
  • You're a phenomenal communicator and have experience leading successful cross-functional projects
  • You’d love to spend your days writing (if it paid the bills) and can find some humor in any topic you write about
  • You’re familiar with project management frameworks (bonus if you have Project/Program management certifications!)
  • You’re confident in your ability to define and execute a successful community engagement strategy
  • You have experience building enablement programs from scratch to educate, empower and incentivize our partners across GTM
  • You’re an opportunistic social media marketer with experience running successful B2B customer acquisition campaigns
More about our team

As part of Atlassian’s newly launched, Point A, group, the Team Central marketing team works hand-in-hand with our partners in product management, engineering and design to help define the market, find product-market fit, and refine product experiences as we better understand the pains of our current and future customers.

When we’re not partnering with the product team to inform the product vision, we’re working in lockstep with our end-to-end marketing teams: field marketing, demand generation, interactive, creative, and data analysts to achieve our lofty customer acquisition goals! This is a very cross-functional role, perfect for someone who is excited about finding the opportunity amidst the chaos and who is confident in their ability to prioritize and deliver measurable results in a world of never-ending opportunity.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

Octopus Deploy is one of Australia’s fastest-growing and most successful software companies. Today we help over 350,000 people worldwide to deliver working software to production.

As a technical product marketer, you are at the heart of the relationship between our customers and our product. You will communicate the value of Octopus to hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. You’ll be part of our Product Marketing team, with a focus primarily on product launches, developing compelling content to help users understand our value, and supporting our product and sales teams.

This isn’t a typical marketing role. We’re looking for somebody who can help articulate the problems Octopus Deploy solves for our customers. We’re not looking for the latest marketing hacks to hijack people’s attention, instead, we want to serve our audience with genuine resources and useful content.

A typical day could include:

  • Planning and executing product launches including preparing and coordinating the related activities and assets.
  • Talking to customers to learn about their problems first-hand. Learning about their technology stacks and how Octopus solves their problems.
  • Refining our positioning and messaging to help the best-fit customers find us.
  • Meeting with teams across Octopus to collaborate on marketing initiatives including our product, engineering, commercial, and design teams.
  • Helping our sales team understand what’s new in the latest release and creating custom marketing materials to support their efforts.
  • Understanding our competitors and how to position ourselves against them.
  • Writing blog posts to support content initiatives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing activities to identify trends and use concrete data to fine-tune and continuously improve our approach.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if:

  • You’re a strong writer and can share examples of your writing.
  • You're self-motivated and love to collaborate and seek feedback.
  • You have a diverse background with a mix of technical and marketing experience. Ideally, you have a degree in a technical discipline (science, math, or engineering) and some marketing experience or you’re a product marketing manager and have some experience working in technical teams.
  • You’re a strong communicator and comfortable learning new concepts.
  • You like a balance of freedom and responsibility in a high-trust environment.
  • You’re comfortable working within a remote-first team.

How to apply:

  • Submit your resume.
  • Include a cover letter.
  • Include samples of your writing with a preference for quality over quantity (no more than a few thousands words).

About the company

We make Octopus Deploy, software that enables teams to deliver working software to production. We've become the "best in class" tool in our category by focusing on doing one thing and doing it very well. Founded in 2012, we now have over 25,000 happy customers around the world, and we employ 90+ wonderful people.

We're a growing, profitable business. Our goal is to build a company that will last forever, while enjoying the journey and doing work that we're proud of. Our business model is all around understanding our customers, building great software, backing it up with great support and customer service, and making it incredibly easy to discover, learn and use.

Most of our team is based in Brisbane, Australia, where the company started, though we've spread to other parts of Australia, the US, and UK. Because our team is distributed, everyone works from home most of the week, so we've built a remote-first culture.

We've made our company handbook public, and it's a great guide to how we think about just about everything - including career progression and compensation, our vision and what we care about, how our company is structured, feedback loops, training, remote work and more. Please take a read of our handbook, and reach out if you think there is a good fit.

Talent Brand Marketing Manager

manager marketing manager Feb 24
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

Atlassian is looking for a Talent Brand Marketing Manager who is passionate about teamwork, innovation, and all things marketing–from strategy to execution. Do you understand the merging worlds of Marketing, HR & Talent Acquisition? Can you confidently navigate through them all? Then this role is for you!

Working as part of the Talent Acquisition team, your focus is evenly split across the development of content-led campaigns, event-based activations, growing our digital presence, and adapting global strategy to fit local needs. Additionally, you’ll activate local Atlassians to be ambassadors for our talent brand.

Atlassian's culture and talent brand are two of our prized possessions. As we amplify our brand presence and expand into new markets, we’ll need someone who can craft and deliver those stories in a way that resonates with local talent.
You'll have the resources to activate solutions, with full ownership over how that comes to life. Of course, the creative bit is only half the fun–well, maybe it's 70% of the fun. Our ideal teammate would also be able to measure the effectiveness of their efforts and continually optimise based on findings.

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • Proven marketing or talent acquisition experience, preferably in technology
  • Previous experience developing talent brand strategy, producing content, and leading event activations
  • A passion for creativity and storytelling
  • A consistent track record in communicating to internal and external audiences as well as excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
  • An outstanding ability to think strategically and get things done (sometimes within the same day) often baffling those around you
  • Comfort in handling large numbers of contending priorities and changing directions quickly
More about our team

Atlassian is growing at lightning speed, and we’re right at the centre of it. We move fast (and think faster). We’re constantly innovating, iterating, and learning from any awkward missteps along the way. We see ourselves as culture champions so, for us, it’s not all about hitting hiring numbers—we seek to attract and hire great people that can elevate the broader Atlassian team around us. We’re a diverse group of motivated, creative professionals that would rarely use the word “professionals” outside of this carefully crafted paragraph.

More about our benefits

Whether you work in an office or a distributed team, Atlassian is highly collaborative and yes, fun! To support you at work (and play) we offer some fantastic perks: ample time off to relax and recharge, flexible working options, five paid volunteer days a year for your favourite cause, an annual allowance to support your learning & growth, unique ShipIt days, a company paid trip after five years and lots more.

More about Atlassian

Creating software that empowers everyone from small startups to the who’s who of tech is why we’re here. We build tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello to help teams across the world become more nimble, creative, and aligned—collaboration is the heart of every product we dream of at Atlassian. From Amsterdam and Austin, to Sydney and San Francisco, we’re looking for people who want to write the future and who believe that we can accomplish so much more together than apart. At Atlassian, we’re committed to an environment where everyone has the autonomy and freedom to thrive, as well as the support of like-minded colleagues who are motivated by a common goal to: Unleash the potential of every team.

Additional Information

We believe that the unique contributions of all Atlassians is the driver of our success. To make sure that our products and culture continue to incorporate everyone's perspectives and experience we never discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.

Atlassian is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to all individuals participating in the application and interview process, and while performing job functions. Please note that you will have the opportunity to request accommodations at each stage of the assessment process.
