manager product manager saas Sep 14

Who We Are: RAIN is a digital consultancy who is the preeminent leader in Voice and Conversational AI. We help clients navigate voice technology. We combine strategy, technology, and creativity to drive growth for our clients and use data-driven insight to design and implement voice ecosystems to help leverage a shifting technology landscape into a competitive edge. We’re guided by the belief that technology is, by definition, an extension of humanity, and that great ideas come from a desire to enhance the lives of real people.

At RAIN, we want to work with people of different backgrounds who come from different paths in life. We want individuals who can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to our culture and company. We believe that transparency builds trust, so we default to disclosure in our communications. We believe in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

Restless & Ready. These are the two attributes that mark the talent thriving at RAIN. We look for people who don’t fit the traditional mold, with skill sets you don’t often see in agencies and consultancies. Said differently, we’re always keen to add more unicorns to the stable. We look for people motivated by big ideas and determined enough to make it a reality.

This is an amazing opportunity to have ownership over a product and make a name for yourself in a quickly growing industry.

The Sr. PM will be the glue of our organization working closely with all departments across RAIN and senior management, in addition to participating in regular discussions with clients to launch products and features that move the needle. You’ll be responsible for the success of products from initial conception to launch, including product strategy, roadmap, and requirements for RAIN. You’re a great fit for this role if you are a professional and engaging communicator with a proven track record of product development successes, particularly in a dynamic, agile startup or fast-growing tech environment. • Leverage process and create a structure to help teams be the most productive.
  • Partner with your engineering team to achieve successful outcomes by clearly communicating business needs, requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and removing friction from the product development process.
  • Adopt a mindset of product iteration through analytical experiments and calculated risks
  • Solve ambiguous problems, which you will define the scope and direction for in collaboration with your stakeholders and engineering counterparts.
  • Through collaboration, you routinely deliver meaningful results for the business. You share and celebrate and build momentum around positive results. You learn and course correct when you don’t get the results you want.
  • Stay on top of technology and capabilities being developed in the industry. Understand how these new technologies may be applied to products at RAIN.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Data-driven - ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions on where to invest and to measure progress towards goals.
  • Familiarity or direct experience with common tools for collaboration (i.e.: Slack, Confluence, Notion), task management (i.e.: Trello, Asana, Jira), feature flagging (i.e.: Launch Darkly, Split.io) and other tools as needed for creating, documenting and managing the implementation of product roadmaps.
  • Keen listener and collaborator who can partner with stakeholders to deeply understand the underlying needs of clients/prospective clients, and problem-solve creatively.
  • Experience with leveraging data to inform product development decisions.

Senior Product Manager, Core Infrastructure

senior manager product manager docker cloud aws Sep 09
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, every Atlassian will have the choice to work from an office or from home.

Atlassian’s future lies in the cloud, for our customers, users, and ecosystem. In this future lies the enormous potential to increase the impact of every Atlassian cloud engineer, from those who work on our internal platforms to those who strive to improve the experiences of our fanatical end-users. Firstly, we need to empower our own engineering teams and enable them to do the best work of their lives.

Our major cloud products all rely on robust cloud infrastructure to both provide a secure and reliable environment to host their services, as well as common functionality for sending email and ingress/egress network connectivity. Atlassian as a business in turn relies on its infrastructure to provide increasingly sophisticated ways to manage cost at scale.

As a Senior Product Manager at Atlassian, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the foundations that underpin the success of Atlassian’s cloud business. Join our Core Infrastructure team as we reinforce the foundations and the walls that protect our Cloud organisation and our customers. Your work will directly improve the lives of every single Atlassian R&D cloud engineer, and will ultimately impact thousands of customers including some of the leaders in their industries, now and for the next decade.

More about you
You love working hard to deliver outstanding products and capabilities for customers. You have prior success setting product vision and strategy and launching excellent products & platforms. You can confidently set clear goals, make decisions, and communicate crisply to your team, to leaders across Atlassian, and to our customers & partners. You can map a company strategy directly to a team’s roadmap, and clearly ladder their results back into that strategy. You’re motivated by deeply understanding our end-users' frustrations, and are unafraid of diving into technical details when required.

You’ve got charisma in spades: you’re social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to ensure we are all on the same page. Previous experience in highly scalable cloud platforms is a plus.

ON YOUR FIRST DAY, WE'LL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • Product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing software company.
  • Significant experience defining and launching features that solve customer and business problems.
  • You love obsessing over your customers and working directly with design, architecture, and engineering to ship impactful products.
  • Ability to prioritise opportunities, balance the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions.
  • Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire your teams and partners.
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics.
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisation.

IT'S GREAT, BUT NOT REQUIRED IF YOU HAVE:

  • BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in technology, IT, or operations.
  • Experience with infrastructure at scale, including AWS, Docker, or Azure.
  • Experience working on anti-abuse capabilities, networking, containerisation technologies, or high-scale transactional messaging platforms.
More about our team
Our team coordinates the development, management, and operations of the core computing and networking infrastructure used by every Atlassian engineer to build great customer experiences. We focus on excelling at the fundamentals and pushing the boundaries on how we deliver incredible capabilities for all Atlassian engineers to use. We see opportunities where others see stability and are constantly innovating to bring state-of-the-art technologies safely into the hands of our entire team. We’re a high-leverage team, and that will only increase as we onboard more products, more users, and more engineers onto our platform offerings

Product Manager, Machine Learning
Fathom
machine learning manager product manager healthcare Aug 17
Please note that this position currently requires residency in the U.S.

We’re on a mission to understand and structure the world’s medical data, starting by making sense of the terabytes of clinician notes contained within the electronic health records of the world’s largest health systems.

Fathom is seeking a Product Manager (PM) for Machine Learning (ML) to own the roadmap and process for ongoing evaluation and improvement of our machine-learning systems.

The PM will be expected to, as needed, grow and manage a dedicated ML quality team (both employees and contractors), including any Technical Program Managers and/or outsourced human labeling resources.

You will work closely with the CTO and Engineering Manager, in addition to the entirety of the engineering team and, on occasion, the customer success team, as you respond to and address customer issues as they arise.

As a Product Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for driving the core quality loop of a machine-learning based product:
  • Analyze outcomes (success versus failure, and why).
  • Lead a cost:benefit analysis on options for improvements.
  • Own the ongoing roadmap for continued improvements.
  • Work with engineering to execute those improvements, including writing detailed, domain-specific specifications.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in our core domain, Medical Coding.
  • Become an expert in how our end-to-end machine-learning-based system works, and how to make it better.

This is a great role if:

  • You love working with data.
  • You are focused on growing a deep core competency in machine learning and/or healthcare.
  • You are excited to build, grow, and support a team.
  • You know how to partner closely and efficiently with engineering.
  • You are detail and systems oriented.
  • Medical coding isn’t rocket science, but it has many rules, is pretty complex, and has many pernicious failure modes.
  • You need to be someone who likes tackling complicated systems--both learning the detail, and building up rules and structures to control that complexity.

We’re looking for teammates who bring:

  • 2+ years in a technical role, such as as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Product Manager on a technical product.
  • Experience working with top-tier technical teams, including negotiating and writing detailed business requirements with an engineering team.
  • Experience developing and managing highly data-driven processes, such as quality control processes, machine learning loops, and so forth.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • Technical degree, such as Computer Science.
  • Professional experience with machine learning.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry.

What you'll do

  • You will report to the CEO, and work closely with designers and engineers to execute our 2020 product roadmap aligned with customer needs and the company's mission
  • As a product manager, you will help drive product KPIs like conversion and time to value which feed directly into hitting revenue targets. We are a product-led growth company which means the product is responsible for driving revenue growth

  • You will discuss technical implementation details with engineers and make trade-offs to strike a balance between meeting the customer needs and hitting deadlines and company goals

  • You will be the liaison between product, engineering, and stakeholders across the company, maintaining clear, regular communication to ensure smooth handoffs and feature releases

Who you are
